I can understand what she is going through. I cut off my hair because of damage and I am all natural and my hair is now longer than most females who have perm,weave etc. Black women don't realize the damage that chemicals can cause your hair and even your brain. Dumb. The chinese and eu's get richer off of us all the time. I don't use any type of chemicals at all, in my house we use coconut oil, olive oil and honey and so on we are natural and healthy. I've worn my hair natural for about three years now and I'm sorry but Solange's hair does not look like that was her intention. It looks like somebody either burned their hair out or gave her an effed-up cut. It has nothing to do with going natural, having your hair straigtened chemically or wearing a weave. Solange's hair looks like an accident happened.
Another idea solange could had tried before she got that haircut was to have had her makeup artist construct and design a latex skull cap for her to try on, she could had wore it for a day; and get a feel of how a shaved look may look like on her.then if she was fine with it,then got her hair cut ,shaped and edged up beautifully.And a pair of large hoops would had gave it That extra pizzazz.
