I do want to say cops do get AWAY with doing illegal or immoral things all the time. Just yesterday, a State Trooper bypassed traffic by putting his lights on;as soon as he entered State Police parking lot, he *** off the lights. SMH. Most cops have GOD complexes and take advantage of the power they were given. This is part of the reason why, if I am pulled over or stopped by a cop, I don't entertain them. I keep the convo stoic, *** and simple. SOME of them really try hard to instigate a fight or cause you to wild out. When approached by a cop, don't think you can win in a battle,lol.

Umm, why tase a man willing to jump off the bridge? The only crime he was attempting was a moral one, killing himself. Let HIM (God), the real police judge that one.
Scary mofos *** be allowed to be cops. Sometimes, common sense and hood rules should apply to hiring practices: guns don't kill people, stupid/scary people with guns do..police included. He was afraid while holding the taser.
I mean the black man was wrong, but cops are ***. They get this job knowing they gonna encounter dangerous situations, but they treat simple traffic stops as dangerous and come up to your *** window with an attitude. Anyways, Dude should have just listened, I mean what can you say when the dude didn't follow orders? Cops are too mean nowadays. I am actually scared *** of how they hold their hand on their gun while walking (though understandable), and they just got a utility belt of *** that's scary. I've only said Hi to a ranger because he looked nice and I was in a good mood.
I hate people that say, I hate cops, because every cop is not bad. I just dislike the cops that abuse authority! What people have to understand is that cops have one of the HARDEST jobs, it brings STRESS. That is why you should not provoke them, use common sense, be honest etc. The cops want to go home every *** just like you do!
This happened literally 5 mins from my job.Now to get the real info on what happened last week the man was reportedly assaulting an employee at a homeless ***, the cops were called and about time they had showed up, the man was already gone. He was on the Centennial Bridge that seperates Rock Island, IL and Davenport, IOWA. Just to clearify some of the stupit comments people have made, he was not trying to jump off the bridge and commit suicide, nor was he on the wrong side of the bridge. when walking on the bridge it is manditory to walk on the walkway that is available for pedestrians..
Also if you slow *** people would read more and stop just looking a pics and video you would have read the caption at the top that says "THE COP KILLS HIM". the cop asked him repeatidly to come from the other side of the rail and get on his knees. the man has been reported to have some type of mental disability also so i dont believe he actually knew what he was doing at the moment. when the man turned to face the cop is when he tased him. the man did nothin but justed turned around at that time. what caused him to flip out was the taser. the man that you seen run in front of the camera......
was an undercover cop who just happen to be crossing the bridge at the same time the altercation was taking place(coincidently). i believe it was a set up. but they *** him more than once. i dont think he needed to be kilted, especially if he didnt have a weapon on hand. they could have just manhandled him like you see them doing on tv, and took his crazy *** to jail. these d@mn cops are getting to d@mn trigger happy now-a-days. you are getting *** now-a-days for being black in the wrong neighborhood. and remember i said this happened in IOWA. Most of the cops here are WHITE.
Man i have been a police officer for 9 years and the streets are not getting any safer for nobody. For those of you who say f*** the police remember that when some crack addict has broken into your house and stolen everything that you worked so hard to buy in this recession. For those who say they didnt have to *** him because he didnt have anything in his hands, remember that when someone is beating the s*** out of you and all you can think about is getting them off you and you dont have anything but your gun.
Troubleman, U seem troubled, man. Srry ur job sux *** it's sad most police officers R viewed as losers. There R some very good police officers; but unfortunately, they R often overshadowed by da @$$holes who were high school zeros dat wanted da power of a gun 2 feel like a hero. I hav the upmost respect 4 soldiers, fire fighters, and police officers, but police hav a history of abusing their power which lessen their respectability and heroism.
