According to RottenTomatoes.com, Obsessed has been called everything from “a trashy, empty calorie thriller” to “horrifically written and terribly overacted.”
To add insult to injury Beyonce showed up in a horrific mess of a dress. We would’ve loved to have heard B’s internal dialogue when she decided to wear the black, sequined *** dress with added train. Wonder if it was Sasha Fierce who picked this one out…

Actually she did say that at a concert in Asia some months back and one of the blogs posted the youtube video and called her a LIAR her exact words were "this is a song I wrote" and she started singing irreplaceable i saw the video ...so on the count of lying about writing she dose lie like ever other person ...she was going to keep the..the fact that she jacked the single ladies video concept until she was called out on it by the media ..and then she came out saying "i was so inspired"...but she is a good singer no denying that.

She’ll win points for realizing booty shaking anthems grow old after a while. But when you’re comparing your music to the likes of Barbara Streisand and entering it as your bid to icon status, then you should really deliver an album that can live up to the hype–from start to finish. So why not let it die peacefully without my beating it with a stick? Beyoncé Knowles, that's why. Reviews have been pretty tough on her. Here's one: "When the world’s most overexposed woman finally realizes that she can’t act, the planet will be a better place." Ouch!
Some critics claim she ruined the movie. *Oh No She Didn't* (an earlier and better title for the movie). The screenwriter and director did that. Beyoncé is the least of the problems possessed by *Obsessed*.The only fun the movie offers is watching her go all Sasha Fierce on the crazy-*** white office assistant (Ali Larter) trying to steal her man (Idris Elba). “You think you know crazy?" she ***. If you thought the soft-porn image of Disney teen queen Miley Cyrus — wearing nothing but ruby-stained lips and a bedsheet — in Vanity Fair magazine was disturbing, you ain’t seen nothin’ yet.
Pop diva Beyonce Knowles, 27, and her fashion-designer mother have launched a girls clothing line that makes Miley’s bare-backed glam session look like a Shirley Temple photo ***.
The Knowles’ family business, “House of Dereon,” recently published advertisements for its “Dereon Girls
Collection” with young models who look no older than my second-grade daughter. They are seductively posed and tarted up, JonBenet Ramsey–style, with bright lipstick, blush, and face powder. Draped in bling, several of the girls sport leather jackets and studded accessories.
One of the children wears sparkly, killer high heels (more pint-size *** Doll than Dorothy from The Wizard of the Oz) and another slouches, gangsta gal-style, with a neon pink boa, leopard-skin fedora and stilettos. An even younger model is a toddler-aged Beyonce Mini-Me with huge hair, skinny jeans, spike-heeled
leather boots, and attitude to match.
Abercrombie & Fitch prompted an outrage a few years ago with its line of thongs for elementary school girls and pedophilia-chic catalogues. And, of course, Calvin Klein started it all with 15-year-old Brooke Shields purring that “Nothing comes between me and my Calvins.” But the House of Dereon photo spread sinks even lower. It’s sick and it’s wrong, and it’s not social conservatives who first said so. Fashion and celebrity websites have been buzzing with outrage over the past week.
“*** my kid,” decried one blogger. “Dereon Girls ad too adult,”
concluded another. Gossip king Perez Hilton polled readers on whether the ad was appropriate. The overwhelming consensus: Hell, no.
The creepiness factor is heightened by the fact that women were responsible for marketing this child exploitation. I’d ask: “Where was Beyonce’s mother to tell her daughter to wipe all the gunk off the Dereon models’ faces?” But Beyonce’s mother — who has helped manage the “Bootylicious” singer’s career from childhood — is her eager and willing partner in crime.
As for the mothers of this new crop of Little Girls Gone Wild models, they were undoubtedly
thrilled to see their daughters painted up and posing like Victoria’s Secret angels-in-training. If we’ve learned anything from Lindsay Lohan and her hard-partying mother, it’s that the Lolita-posing apple doesn’t fall far from the bosom-flaunting tree.
So, what’s next? Nine-year-olds performing stripper routines? Oh, wait. It’s been done already. I saw that very *** last fall on the cable TV reality show Keeping Up with the Kardashians — featuring the grade-school-age daughters of Olympic star Bruce Jenner strapping on stilettos and twirling around a stripper pole in their parents’
bedroom as friends and family cheered them on. Future House of Dereon clients, no doubt.
Beyonce’s clothes, you should know, are available at Macy’s department stores and other “fine” establishments willing to carry titillating tot wear. Shame on them all. Shame them all. It’s time to redouble our efforts to fight back against the Forever 21 culture that poisons Hollywood, Halloween, prom season, and every season in between. In our indecent world, seven has become the new 21. Shouldn’t a child’s innocence last longer than a porn star’s .25-ounce pot of lip gloss?

From a business/ PR standpoint this a huge misstep for the Beyonce/ House of Dereon camp. This country is willing to tolerate a lot of things even to the point where we make fun of peole like Foxy Brown or Remy Ma’s misfortunes however when you’re dealing with children that’s a very sensitive topic. With sick twisted men out there preying on and killing beautiful young ladies the likes of Lindsay Harris it makes our even younger children more vulnerable. I’m surprised Beyonce didn’t consult with her ultra child conscientious homegirl Kimora Lee on this. She would have put the kabash on that real quick.
Personally, it honestly wouldn’t have been my initial thought. Then again I’m not a woman and don’t have children so the ad doesn’t target me. Looking at it I see where they were trying to be kind of cute with the graphics but then again they took a calculated risk and judging by the early returns…they lost!

Agree there. I can at least tolerate Bey's voice, but Rihanna sounds like a dying cat. It's a shame when artists like the ones you mentioned plus Me'Shell ***'degeocello, Maysa Leaks or even Erykah Badu, etc. are shoved to the side for "I'm pretty but talentless" stars like Rhi and Cassie. But I guess image means more than anything now. Real sad.
@Frenchilicious what these people fail to realize that Milli Vanilli got many accolades and praises until they were fould out. They were rejected from the music society. It got so bad that one of the members took his own life (the light skinned one). So since people are waking up it won't be that long before Beyonce is done.

It is the plain truth. She was never anything big anyway. Ever since she got with Chris brown things started to change for her because Chris was at the top since day one. And for Rihanna well she wasn't really out there. So I believe that just for publicity she made Chris hit her. So that chris' carreer would sink and hers would rise.
