@RedDragon: Yea, society is so shallow and always quick to label some 1 as "fat". Hell, plenty of ppl on here have called me fat ~shrug~. I NEVER let that ish get me down bcuz I can tell Raven is one of those big boned ppl who wasn't meant to be a size 2. I can relate bcuz all the women in my family range from size 6 to a size 14. No one in my family is what one would consider "skinny", but who the hell cares?? I actually use to be a size 7/8 before I had my daughter and now I am a size 12. Some people think I am overweight. But I am healthy (no cardiac issues, hypertension, diabetes). And the fact that my height is only 5"2 makes me appear bigger anyhow. But umm, if I have to look like Lindsay Lohan or Nicole Richie to be perceived as “thin” it will be a cold day in hell before I lose weight. LOL.

@kayjay508...I feel you! I'm 5ft1 and ima 14 working toward a 10! Height has a lot to do with it but I was 126 lbs before I had my girls! Wouldn't change it for the world, that's the chance you take when you have kids...and it takes determination to stay consistent and get the weight off! Its all about being healthy! My dude passed of cancer @ 27 and he looked like the pic of health! I'm losing weight for me so I can see my granny babies and great grans if its Gods will! I'm happy with the skin I'm in, just needs a lil adjustment and its good!

@RayfromtheBay: Oh yes, don't get me wrong. I am not negligent at all and definitely work hard to MAINTAIN my weight. Trust, just as you I am very comfortable in my own skin, but I aint tryna gain any more weight. So, I do watch what I eat because I know the more weight you gain, the harder it is to lose it. It's funny because I have gotten use to being a size 12 with all my clothes and everything, and now I am trying to decide if I want to put in some extra work to get down to a size 10 or even an 8. I do go for walks, but no hardcore exercise to really make a difference. But, I am considering it. I just don’t want to start anything & not finish it. Plus with work and being a single mom, I would have to come up with an exercise plan that works around my schedule.

I wish you lots of luck on your road to weight loss. You go girl. I won’t be too far behind ya.
