Ashley “A.J.” Jewell, who was engaged to Kandi Burruss until last August, died of massive head injuries he suffered in a “one-on-one” fight in the parking lot of an Atlanta strip bar, the Body Tap ClubThe police made an arrest - a club employee named Fredrick Richardson. He has been charged with voluntary manslaughter.

AJC.com which is the online news source for Atlanta has it on the first page. According to the website he did pass away from head injuries. Also, he is the ex fiance' of Kandi. That will come out later in the show. And for the fool that said Kandi's mom may have set this whole thing up, you are sadly mistaken and really need to stop smoking weed.

ATLANTA (MyFOX ATLANTA) - Police confirmed Friday *** that "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star, Kandi Burress' ex-fiance A.J. Jewell was killed at an Atlanta *** club. Police said Jewell died after a fight at the Body Tap club on Marietta Boulevard.
Police said Jewell suffered a severe head injury during the fight and was taken to Piedmont Hospital, where he later died.
Investigators said they had no suspects is in custody Friday ***.

And just for the record, AJ was co-owner of Body Tap as well as other clubs here in Atlanta. He was not a dead beat. He questioned his partner about money at a meeting that was planned. On AJ's way out, (the streets say) his partner paid some dudes to start a fight and it ended up with AJ being stabbed and beaten to death. I am connected to people who know people and this is what's being said.

ATLANTA -- Atlanta police have made an arrest in the death of Ashley “A.J.” Jewell, the former fiancé of Atlanta "housewife" Kandi Burruss.
SLIDESHOW: Atlanta Housewife's Fiance' Killed After Strip Club Brawl
Atlanta police told Channel 2 Action News that Jewell received a severe head injury during a fight at The Body Tap Club in the 1200 block of Marietta Boulevard in Atlanta.
"It appears he was involved in an altercation in the parking lot and he received a severe blow to the head," said Atlanta Police Lt. Keith Meadows. Meadows said Jewell was taken to Piedmont Hospital where he later died.
Police said Fredrick Richardson, an employee at the strip club, is charged with voluntary manslaughter and currently being held at Grady Detention in connection with the crime. Authorities said Richardson, who was also injured, will be transported to the Fulton County Jail once he is cleared by medical personnel.
Burruss is the newest cast member of the hit reality show, “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” and is coping with Jewell's tragic death. Jewell also appeared regularly on the show.
Saw this on the crawl on CNN. So sad. Kandi is the only one of the "Housewives" who seems authentic. My heart breaks for her, and both of their respective families and friends as well. RIP, AJ. I wish blessings and peace for all of them. I agree that this should be the lead story, not Matthew Knowles messing around on his wife. How shallow.

My BF called me this AM to tell me to check out Kandi's twitter acct. And I felt so bad for her after reading what she posted. She really loved AJ. She has been thru a lot recently; with her family member who was killed by a drunk driver, then her uncle's death who's funeral is today. SMH.
I was not a fan of AJ while watching RHOA, but I refuse to speak ill of the dead. Whatever the case was, he didn't deserve to have his life taken away!! Hopefully God gives Kandi all the strength she needs to pull through all of this.
