I went to school with some and they were all ignorant and lazy just like the ones posting now. I don't hang out with Black American men, but most of my girls are Black American women. They will tell you the same thing. My man, his sisters, and their mom will tell you the same thing. It's a known fact that Black American men do the worst in this country when it comes to education, even worse than Mexicans. And I don't buy the excuses. If Black American women can rise up and become educated and wealthy, why can't the men? There is no excuse.

I agree with those that feel black women should expand their scope of romance. A lot of black men (not all) are abusive, nasty, whorish, inadequately educated and come from dysfunctional backgrounds. Most are raised in homes where there is no solid male example of how a woman should be treated. Hence, that dysfunction is played out on black women. I, for one, am pretty much finished with black men. Married twice to them and it was hell to pay - everyday. But that's my experience and I'm ready to be treated well so now looking outside of my race. There are good ones but I don't know them.

It's nice to know that the race baiting trolls haven't completely taken over and there are still some intelligent, level headed people out there willing to stand up against the foolishness and call it like they see it. Anybody who generalizes an entire group whether based on race or sex is an idiot, period. There are rotten apples in every race that are men and women, that's not to say that all or most are this way or that. I've dated different races of men, prior to marrying my husband who is black, I was in a LTR with a man who happened to be white.
And for all the racebaiters who'll speculate my ex, the white guy did want to marry me, I turned him down a couple of times because he was insecure and needy. And not because of his race either, he wasn't the first white man I'd dated, he just wasn't the one for me. I've dated black men who were needy and insecure, and I've dated white men who were needy and insecure...there's no difference. Rotten apples come in all races.
