: MediaTakeOut.com just learned that Fergie came THIS CLOSE to outing rapper Kanye West. According to her, he and his "cohorts" opened up the world of hip hop to gay folk.
Here's an excerpt from an interview she gave to the magazine The Advocate:
Until the demise of the Fame Kills Tour, Kanye West had been planning to hit the road with Lady Gaga, one of the gay-friendliest pop stars out there today. So it doesn't really come out of left field to have Fergie credit him, along with her cohorts in the Black Eyed Peas, for helping make the world of hip-hop a little more open to alternative lifestyles.We actually think its great for Yeezy to open up hip hop!! Now he just needs to open up about his . . . you know . . ."They're completely gay-friendly. Are you kidding me? Look at how they dress!" she joked to The Advocate about the guys in her band, adding, "Kanye West really did a great thing for hip-hop and made it very mixed and open."

When she says talks about people dressing *** or flamboyantly, she is talking about people in HER band--you know the Black Eyed Peas? You are reading too far into things. Please try harder to hire staff that can actually read for meaning. Until then don't *** when people question your journalism practices.

So I heard about Luther Vandross way back in the 80s before anyone else knew he was ***. We find out whose *** before anyone else, but I'm not going to put anyone else on blast.
