That's really great of them. God Bless Them. That's what I like to see, stars/entertainers actually going down to the streets and giving back to the people who SHOULD matter. Can you imagine if each rapper/entertainer took a city to help out, especially in these times with the economy being a flop. That's when people need to help each other out - so we can ALL get through bad times together.
I will be impressed when I see turkey giveaways for Black history month or hams for Easter or free chickens in April. There is something a little insincere about free turkeys at the end of the year (tax write off season) and the media gets invited. I understand these guys make millions of dollars a year and the tax rate at that income level is over 50% but this is actually exploiting us poor people. All year they don't even think about us. The only reason we enter their minds is when they are trying to get out of paying uncle sam half the money they made all year so they do things like this.
That is so good that those dudes are giving back to the community...that's a good look...I like that...I will be purchasing their music and showing support when those albums drop...please believe...MTO y'all didn't have to call those people "poor"...they could just be layed off from work or something...y'all know better than to phrase it in the caption like that...c'mon son !
thats a good look...

@ chelle101: Seriously, that thinking will do nothing but hold you back. Do you really believe everyone with a good job went to some sort of school for it? Did you know there are thousands of people educating themselves for better careers? Did you know I'm studying myself for certain IT certificates that will GET ME BETTER JOBS? Of course not because its not in a song or on tv. The point I made stands. Would they be doing this if it wasn't a tax write off? NO!
@lisa_lipzzz...
Please re-read what I wrote. I do not think you fully understood. It is becoming clear that the "tawk like dis" crowd are sheep to the media and blindly believe the *** they get handed. Come to Camden NJ in April and help the kids get prom dresses and tuxedos, or come in August and help the parents get school uniforms. Or build a computer lab in your own schools, or just buy new books and teaching materials. In New Orleans people are still living in FEMA trailers. Help them. Do it from your heart and not because there is a camera in your face.
