1- Susan Boyle – I Dreamed A Dream - 600,000+ units 2- Adam Lambert - For Your Entertainment – approx 220,000 units 3- Lady Gaga - Fame Monster – approx 190,000 units 4- Rihanna - Rated R - approx 180,000 unitsWow!!! 180,000 units is a respectable number but number 4??? Under Adam Lambert???

Rihanna has never sold more than that on her first week of her album sales so this isnt that big of a deal and she has never debuted at number 1 yet her singles still go to the top of the charts and you guys are still talking about her so she definitely isnt flopping and i think she did quite honorably agaisnt all these white artists seeing as though hardly no black people supported her since that incident but i still think this album will be big because she has a lot of strong songs on it

Cds that land in the top 5 are not flops. Anything below five is a certifiable flop. Amazon was running a special for all cds, I don’t know why you just keep saying Rihanna. I got 5 cds (Rihanna, Sasha fierce, bp3, shakira, and gaga) downloaded to my computer for 7.99. So, why you idiots were busy listening to mto, you just missed out on one hell of a deal to get cds for next to nothing. Just about all the cd’s were available for mp3 download and if they were, you got them for either 0.99 or 2.99.

Rihanna broke – worth $20,000?
It is being widely rumoured that the chart topping pop sensation Rihanna is broke. The rumour and reports are as follows:
The singer has fired her business manager Patricia Williams and accused her of stealing her money once she realised her financial situation. In retaliation, Williams has given an interview to a media organisation in an attempt to clear her name.
In the interview, Williams denied stealing the singer’s money and explained that she has worked with lots of other high profile actors, musicians and multi-million corporations and therefore has no reason to steal from Rihanna. The business manager also stated that she tried to explain the situation to the singer but Rihanna called her all sorts of names and stormed off.
Williams has provided a breakdown of the singer’s finances –which if summarised is that, her record label Def Jam was not funding Rihanna properly and so the singer’s manager Marc Jordon uses Rihanna’s own money and money from her endorsements to fund her albums and music videos.
Williams went on to explain that Jordan, and Rihanna’s publicist from well-respected public relations firm 42-West, Alicia Silverman has built a lot of hype around Rihanna’s name but the singer has only made “a little bit above a million” and “all of it was spent on making her as big as she is now”. “I don’t want to disrespect Marc’s name. He is a fantastic manager and genuinely believes in Rihanna. But he uses her money to fund her future projects because he believes he can break her in the world-market. Her album sales are not nearly as close to her single sales and he knows that if she is only known as a ’singles artist’ she will only be as good as her last hit. Unfortunately, he didn’t inform his client and I’m receiving the brunt of it.
It is reported that Rihanna’s hit single Umbrella was number one on both sides of the Atlantic and her recent album Good Girl Gone Bad has sold around 5 million copies worldwide. She has also performed stadium tours across the US and Europe and signed lucrative sponsorship deals with CoverGirl Cosmetics, Samsung and Nike as examples. All this makes this rumour even more of a surprise
