She is not cute people! A African latin chick denying her black roots, don't like her. Every time she plays in a film she is cast as a black chick, why don't she go as what she says she is "latina". You can't ask every Caribbean person to claim their country along with every other race it's been mixed with through out history. If then ask Puerto Rico & Cuba & every other Hispanic country to claim their African, Spaniard & indigenous Indian roots. Point is if you speak Spanish & come from a Spanish country regardless of it's roots, your then considered Hispanic! & Sesspool, your absolutely point less!

From where are you getting your information? 99% of the people on here have never been to the Dominican Republic, nor truly know anytyhing about it, except what little misinformation you know, but that is expected of the majority of African-Americans who talk so much ish, yet know very little of the world around them. In DR, she would be classified as Moreno or Indio; Negro (spanish for black, people, in case you didnt know that) is not in a Dominican's classification, except if they were Haitians who live in DR (in which DR has an enmity towards going
back to occupation of the country by Haitians, a result from the slave result led by Toussaint L'Ouverture). Yes, we know of our ancestry - Spanish, African, Indio - some has more of one or another, but we see ourselves as Latinos, first and foremost, and many African-Americans have a problem with that, so it seems, which I personally believe is born of a combination of jealousy, ignorance and stupidity, being that they don't like the fact that there is someone who looks like them and will not claim to be one of them.
