After much prayer and consideration I have decided to part ways from my management team, Mathew Knowles and Music World Entertainment. From my time in Destiny's Child to my solo career, I am grateful for everything Mathew and his team has done for me.Of course everyone is now gonna say that this is GOOD NEWS for Michelle's career - and explain how it was MATTY that was holding back her career the whole time.We've shared great success together. However, as I move in a new direction in my career, I felt it was time.
I wish Mathew Knowles and the Music World Entertainment family all the best.
But we're not even gonna go there. You know, people keep BLAMING Mathew Knowles for all these chicks career’s flopping. But Matty ain't manage Ciara, Ashanti, Mya or Amerie . . . so what's their EXCUSE????

I kind of agree with MTO on this. Kelly and Michelle just don't have that great of music to me. Kelly had some good songs like 2 or maybe 3 but I though Amerie had some pretty good songs and even Monica. I feel they aren't being promoted good enough. Now that I think about it they weren't promoted that well. Like when Kelly or Michelle album first come out you see some promotion but they don't continue to get that promotion like Beyonce. Then again their music is not that great!
The key to success in the entertainment business is getting a team of people who have YOU in their best interest.
Beyonce: her team is her family. Usher: his team is his family. Brandy: her team is her family. Mj: had a good team and when he didn't he got rid of them. These are just very few successful people.
SHe did the right thing because of course he will think of his daughter first.

I didn't hear Michelle blame Matthew for anything. All she said was she wanted to move in a different direction. Lots of singers do that. Seems amicable to me. In a strange way, I don't feel that sorry for Michelle or Kelly. People told them that Mathew didn't care about anyone BUT Beyonce. These two allowed themselves to be used in an effort to protect Beyonce. They should have fired him in 2004 after DC's last album. Amerie whole style was bitten before she even got a real chance, Ahsanti had a good career going but her work ethic was not there. Ciara fired Jazzy Pha and started being sexy, when kids luved her. Michelle Waiting until her career has no momentum to leave. Kelly 2 both were in the backseat They r just realizing? The one that had a slight chance was Toya but she cant get the PR and attention she needs to really be on any level but dating famous dudes. Beyonce won before they even started.
