Red Cross does actually help. In 2006 my house burnt down and me and my family lost everything. My daughter was 7mths at that time and i didnt even have milk to give her. But Red Cross gave me a debit card to buy clothes and food,paid for a hotel, and even paid the deposit on my apartment until my house was rebuilt. So I believe they will also do their part.

âThis case is about the identity of the borrower,â said Matthew Collette, a lawyer for the government, in oral arguments today. âThis is the equivalent of saying âI want all the loan applications that were submitted.ââ
Bloomberg argued that the public has the right to know basic information about the âunprecedented and highly controversial useâ of public money. Banks and the Fed warn that bailed-out lenders may be hurt if the documents are made public, causing a run or a sell-off by investors. Disclosure may hamstring the Fedâs ability to deal with another crisis, they also argued. The lower court agreed with Bloomberg.

@Imjustsayn Not everyone from Haiti or overseas is Nasty. I'm sorry you've encountered a few haitians that had the "better than thou attitude". I know haitians aren't the only nationality with that attitude. Furthermore, Haitians are HUMBLE people.
Thank you to those individuals for doing the humanitarian thing by spreading the word about assistance, prayers and kind words. Despite what CNN is reporting Haiti IS NOT THE POOREST COUNTRY IN THE WESTERN HEMISPHERE. There are other countries that are poorer they're just not reported.

I'm going to be honest. I live on a street with four Haitian familes and they are the worst people I have ever meet! They think they are better than americans and that we owe them something. They turn their noses up and only speak to you when they want something. I will help out probaly in more ways than most, but they really need to change their additude!!!
