It's important that every part of MLK is put into the movie. The "good" and the "bad". Because of the extraordinary things he has done for this country, he has been turned into a symbol. And like every other man he had strengths and weaknesses, fears and temptations. It's easy for the average man to look at MLK and say, "I can't make change like that, I can't do that". Well, didn't see what was so amazing about "Monsters Ball" nor did I see what so spectacular about " Precious". Both films were very overrated in my opinion and the only person in precious who is worthy of mention with respects to performance was Monique and Mariah.
