I think anyone that has the funds and the love in their heart to adopt should be able to. About like 5 years ago i did some research into possibly adopting a child from Hati. But they want you to be married for 10 years in order to adopt from their country or you can be divorced but you have to be married before. I don't too much now if it has changed. But if i had the funds, yes i would be there trying to adopt one if they let single women adopt.

Before adoption I would recommend her spending time with the children first. If she decides to not adopt there are other ways of helping. She can volunteer her time to help out like a big sister or she can donate some money. Every little thing counts.
