Police sources said Peeks - who is 6-feet-7 and weighs 250 pounds - hit Sharpton, also 23, and also threw her out of a car while they were breaking up, sources said.Ain't that something. The boy's MAMA gotta come out and DENY the whole thing. If she would let dude be a MAN and take responsibility for his actions, maybe he wouldn't be BEATING ON WOMEN . . .Dominique Sharpton reported the incident to police and was treated at Harlem Hospital for a cut inside her lip.
Yesterday, she told police she did not want Peeks arrested, but the NYPD's policy is to charge domestic violence offenders even if the victim doesn't cooperate.
Peeks' mother, Jewel Gomez, defended her son, saying: "He said he did not hit her. They had a scuffle and one thing led to another. ... I'm sure that if she had not been Sharpton's daughter, this would had been a private matter."
cont'd one time when i was 15 yrs old a month after my mother died im walkin thru my hood and this *** started *** with and she notice i had a T-*** with my mother piture on it and it read in loving memory, so she asked how my mother died , i told her i dont wanna talk about it and this was this *** reply:

My mother taught me that if I meet a guy and the relationship develops into a serious one that I should let him know that if he ever hits me there will be hell to pay. She did that with my father. She told him if he ever hit her or shoved her that she would find a way to make sure that he wouldn't live another day. He never touched her. Ladies need to stop letting these dudes use them as punching bags.

See, this right here is the problem now. It's good that this is public, like many domestic violence situations SHOULD be, but most are not and is a "private matter" and instead of getting any kind of help, the abuse can get worse and worse and someone could end up dying.
