Good. Isn't it one of her goals to uplift self esteem within young black girls who aspire to be like the images they see on TV and in magazines? Wouldn't she want to show, then, that the people these girl want to emulate are "regular" women too, with fashion consultants and hours of make-up and hair artistry to glam them up to establish an image for them? Again, good for Tyra for not being so pretentious.

If you think about the women who grace the pages of the magazines, you would know that Tara would never be able to fit the mold - not without the makeup, hair and everything else that is necessary to make black women compete with the white women.
