: MediaTakeOut.com just learned that next month, Thomas Hagan, the only man to admit being involved in the MURDER of Civil Rights leader Malcolm X, is getting OUT OF PRISON. According to reports, Thomas was granted parole on March 3rd and is scheduled to be released on April 28th.
Thomas Hagan, Norman Butler and Thomas Johnson, were all convicted of MURDERING Malcom. Both Johnson and Butler have consistently maintained their innocence.
The gov't is releasing him, not because they believe he's paid his debt to society, but so that he can do interviews and whatnot associating Farrakhan and NOI with the assassination of Malcolm X, thus creating an environment for black people to come against Farrakhan and the NOI. Don't fall for it people. The Devil is a liar. Remember that!
I'm so shocked to see folks saying "he wont last long" or "he should be in there for life" when MOST of you do not even embody the message that Malcolm displayed.
Nothing will happen to that man. It's too many people, especially black people, who dont even care about Malcolm or themselves. Especially the black men!
One thing to remember, when the government has someone murdered, THEY DON'T "FIND" AND CONVICT THE MURDERER (who shot M.L. King?). They protect the guilty in those cases. Another thing to remember, THESE MEN WERE BLACK MEN. Another thing to remember, Malcolm was assassinated when he was less of a threat to the government than he had been in the past.
iketernr Flag post Thomas Hayer, now known as Mujahid Halim, was paroled in 1993. Wikipedia Use the Internet to seek truth and not lies. This man was paroled years ago, as were the other two in 1985 & 1987. The other two maintained their innocence while Hayer admitted to his part in the killing.
DON'T YOU FUKKAS READ!!!
Talmadge Hayer, a Black Muslim also known as Thomas Hagan, was arrested on the scene.[124] Eyewitnesses identified two more suspects, Norman 3X Butler and Thomas 15X Johnson, also members of the Nation of Islam. The city charged all three men in the case.[125] At first Hayer denied any involvement, but during the trial he confessed to having fired shots into Malcolm X's body. He testified that Butler and Johnson were not present and were not involved in the assassination, but he declined to name the men who had joined him in the shooting.[126] Nonetheless, all three men were convicted.[127]
In 1977 and 1978, Hayer submitted two sworn affidavits re-asserting his claim that Butler and Johnson were not involved in the assassination. In his affidavits Hayer named four men, all members of the Nation of Islam's Newark Temple Number 25, as having participated with him in the crime. Hayer asserted that a man, later identified as Wilbur McKinley, shouted and threw a smoke bomb to create a diversion. Hayer said that another man, later identified as William Bradley, had a shotgun and was the first to fire on Malcolm X after the diversion. Hayer asserted that he and a man later identified as Leon David, both armed with pistols, fired on Malcolm X immediately after the shotgun blast. Hayer also said that a fifth man, later identified as Benjamin Thomas, was involved in the conspiracy.[128][129] Hayer's statements failed to convince authorities to reopen their investigation of the murder.[130]
Butler, now known as Muhammad Abdul Aziz, was paroled in 1985. He became the head of the Nation of Islam's Harlem mosque in New York in 1998. He continues to maintain his innocence.[131] Johnson, now known as Khalil Islam, was released from prison in 1987. During his time in prison, he rejected the teachings of the Nation of Islam and converted to Sunni Islam. He, too, maintains his innocence.[132] Hayer, now known as Mujahid Halim, was paroled in 1993.[133] Source(s): [link to external website removed] 1 year ago 100% 1 Vote Report Abuse
@watchMEshyne
You are right, excuse my last post. I almost feel for the fake stories MTO constantly portrays.
That piece of shyt Farrakhan was behind the murder of malcolm x.
Then that mother f_cker wants to talk about white people trying to assassinate obama, He killed one of the greatest concious minds in black history and yet he wants to point the finger at someone else. Hypocritical piece of shyt.
Half of us ain't never listened to a Malcolm X speech, I know I haven't. Just keepin' it real. So there is no real threat to this man in this day in age. The one's who followed Malcolm religiously and actually embraced his speeches will have ill feelings perhaps. Half of them are old tho, probably dead as well.
THIS IS A FALSE STORY!!!!
MTO SHOULD BE PROTESTED FOR THIS!
EVERYONE KNOWS THE FBI HIRED SOMEONE TO BROTHER
MALCOLM.
THIS IS A FALSE STORY!
MTO SHOULD BE PROTESTED FOR THIS!
EVERYONE KNOWS THE FBI HIRED SOMEONE TO KILL
BROTHER MALCOLM.

sirhan sirhan will never be released..john hinkley jr. will never be released..understand the symbolism associated with this..black mans life ain't as valuable as a white mans. the only reason brothers are getting football numbers nowadays is because the prison industrial complex is using them to enrich their coffers. i know some black dudes that killed other black dudes and are back walkin the streets..i know a few black dudes that killed white dudes..and they ain't ever getting out the bing. always been that way in the good ole US of A.
@she45nam
Can you be quiet for once? I never dissed all black woman. I made a generalization about "most" African American women, and I spoke only from my experiences.
I never dissed black women in the Uk, Africa, the Caribbean, south America etc so stfu and stop saying I'm insulting " all black women" because that is a lie.
@ Badtwin
Thank You...I believe their is room for everybody just because Malcolm had his time Farrakhan could of had his back then.....How can you teach the ways of life then turn around and kill yourself?...I believe Farrakhan feel sorry for what he had done back then but to kill just to shine light on yourself is pure evil.......
@blackbeautyanddiva
Thomas Hagan spent many years in a work release program which confined him to prison only 12 hours on weekends. On March 3rd 2010 NY Division of Parole granted Hagan release effective April 28.
Be cautious of wikipedia.org; it's become a source of propaganda and misinformation despite its claim of unbiased article-writing.
@bluepeas
I know may history fool.......
Thomas Hagan has been held since he shot Malcolm X on February 21, 1965. Hagan has been on work release for more than two decades but still spends two days a week at the Lincoln Correctional Facility in New York.
On his 17th parole request Hagan was set a final release date of April 28. Hagan, who turned 69 in prison this week, shot Malcolm X while he was giving a speech at the Audubon in Washington Heights. Hagan was captured by the crowd, shot at and beaten before being taken into custody by police.

Hagan, Butler and Johnson were all black Muslims and members of the Nation of Islam, which X left in March of 1964. Educate yourself before talking [EXPLETIVE].
Also if the government was hiding them or keeping them in protect custody, then why is Butler a CURRENT and PROMINENT figure in NY for the Nation of Islam????????
Also if the goverment was hidding them or keeping them in protevite customy, then why is Butler a CURRENT and PROMINET figure in NY for the Nation of Islam????????

Eulogy delivered by Ossie Davis at the funeral of Malcolm X Faith Temple Church Of God, February 27,1965
"Here - at this final hour, in this quiet place - Harlem has come to bid farewell to one of its brightest hopes -extinguished now, and gone from us forever. For Harlem is where he worked and where he struggled and fought - his home of homes, where his heart was, and where his people are - and it is, therefore, most fitting that we meet once again - in Harlem - to share these last moments with him. For Harlem has ever been gracious to those who have loved her, have fought her, and have defended her honor even to the death.
It is not in the memory of man that this beleaguered, unfortunate, but nonetheless proud community has found a braver, more gallant young champion than this Afro-American who lies before us - unconquered still. I say the word again, as he would want me to : Afro-American - Afro-American Malcolm, who was a master, was most meticulous in his use of words. Nobody knew better than he the power words have over minds of men. Malcolm had stopped being a 'Negro' years ago. It had become too small, too puny, too weak a word for him. Malcolm was bigger than that. Malcolm had become an Afro-American and he wanted - so desperately - that we, that all his people, would become Afro-Americans too.
There are those who will consider it their duty, as friends of the Negro people, to tell us to revile him, to flee, even from the presence of his memory, to save ourselves by writing him out of the history of our turbulent times. Many will ask what Harlem finds to honor in this stormy, controversial and bold young captain - and we will smile. Many will say turn away - away from this man, for he is not a man but a demon, a monster, a subverter and an enemy of the black man - and we will smile. They will say that he is of hate - a fanatic, a racist - who can only bring evil to the cause for which you struggle! And we will answer and say to them : Did you ever talk to Brother Malcolm? Did you ever touch him, or have him smile at you? Did you ever really listen to him? Did he ever do a mean thing? Was he ever himself associated with violence or any public disturbance? For if you did you would know him. And if you knew him you would know why we must honor him.
Malcolm was our manhood, our living, black manhood! This was his meaning to his people. And, in honoring him, we honor the best in ourselves. Last year, from Africa, he wrote these words to a friend: 'My journey', he says, 'is almost ended, and I have a much broader scope than when I started out, which I believe will add new life and dimension to our struggle for freedom and honor and dignity in the States. I am writing these things so that you will know for a fact the tremendous sympathy and support we have among the African States for our Human Rights struggle. The main thing is that we keep a United Front wherein our most valuable time and energy will not be wasted fighting each other.' However we may have differed with him - or with each other about him and his value as a man - let his going from us serve only to bring us together, now.
Consigning these mortal remains to earth, the common mother of all, secure in the knowledge that what we place in the ground is no more now a man - but a seed - which, after the winter of our discontent, will come forth again to meet us. And we will know him then for what he was and is - a Prince - our own black shining Prince! - who didn't hesitate to die, because he loved us so."
Some of yall are some of the most ignorant people on Earth and when the white man yall serving turns on the Black community when the dollar is worthless, yall deserve the great chastisement yall are going to get. Anyone with common sense knows that the FBI killed malcolm and had a couple of zealots do it to try to bring down the NOI. Betty Shabazz even went as far as saying it too. So yall know more than his wife. okay. Betty Shabazz and Farrakhan (who adored Malcolm, patched things up. Here's malcolm apologizing to the hon elijah muhammad
