This woman most likely posted these images for her friends & family not for them to end up on some urban,gossip site lol. But then again,everyone has access to the world web so we take risks when posting our pix or info on these social/networking sites. Especially when the account isn't set to be private.
catmama- I understand your point but not every white person will base there opinion of a race on one persons actions. Everyone is different. If you generalize you may lose out on knowing people of substance. Just because one black person may leave a mean comment doesn't mean I think all black people are mean. This is so very nasty. That bloody water is very unsanitary and not safe for you or the baby to be lounging. That's why they clean a newborn as soon as he is delivered, you stupid, imbecilic, moronic cretin! To also expose your daughter to this as normal behavior insures that there will be grandchildren in the household by the time she is 13.
This is not something that should be made a part of public perusal. So you people that have always wished to be "white"...be careful of that for which you wish. You really don't want to be considered a part of this race of people.
As a mother that has experienced a home waterbirth, and assisted in my sisters multiple homebirths, I can relate. You do of course take several photos, and after the baby is born it's o.k. for the baby to swim for awhile as they are accustomed to living in water so you can give them a chance to adjust to from water to land. @ journdi it is the hospital's practice to clean the baby immediately, most homebirths just wipe the baby down, and leave on a fatty yellow protective substance called the vernix.
GIVING BIRTH IS A BEAUTIFUL THING. TWICE I WENT THRU THIS, THE FIRST TIME C SECTION, THE SECOND TIME THE TRADITIONAL WAY, SO CONGRADS TO THIS LADY. BUT TO POST THIS UP ON FACEBOOK IS SO UNKNOWN TO ME. SEEING THAT BLOOD MADE ME HELLA WEAK.

@foxxy_brown...its ok for babies to inhale the water when yu have them underwater, b/c they are in water when they are in yu amniotic sac/uterus, they dnt inhale til yu make them cry...when I have kids (IF I EVER DO...I'm only 20) but if I do I wish I cud b strong enuff 2 do it w/out medication but truth b told I know it ain't gon happen
I dont have kids but Ive seen alot of births so these pics dont freak me out. She most likely wanted to show her family members on there so she could have sent an email or made it private instead of posting them.... but it still is a beautiful thing and water births are becoming more popular.
I expect the "gross" comments from men but woman please.Black folks was up on water births in the South years ago. Shoot, we deal with that mess during " Red Sonya" every month and if some of yall aint health you see a whole lot more....
