Now,her hubby Mark Anthony is a whole other story..That man can sing!His voice is amazing & music is fab!
Not too many artist today can hold a note, the few that can are Monica,Jill Scott, Angie Stone, Eryka Badu, India Irie, Chrisette Michele, Jennifer Hudson and of course Ledisi. these woman sing from the soul, they have substance, they have talent. Wut happened to the Anita Bakers, the Angela Winbushes,the Stephanie Mills, the Patti Labelles, the Vestas, and the Jennifer Holidays. They justdont exist anymore. RnB has gone from pure raw talent to no skills and skimpy clothing.

Who is shocked? Honestly? Haven't we all heard her sing live at some point? Her voice is atrocious there's not a singing bone in her body. As old a woman as she is she should have the wisdom to realize her faults and shame enough not to persist to pursue what she's bad at and further torture the general public's sensibilities with the trash she continues to put out. Furthermore, who keeps encouraging her to put out *** for music? They're just as guilty of the assault on our ears.
She needs to stop in Spanish and English and no that doesn't mean she should take up Japanese and start warming up. JUST QUIT! Other ppl are commenting that if anyone is a real singer it takes practice and maybe you can't find the note you want to sing. She's had enough practice and still can't get it right. She has no technical singing ability which is not hard for anyone to pick up on. She *** up too much, how hard is it to find the melody in your voice if you truly sing? Really? She *** even be allowed to hum.
