: One of MediaTakeOut.com’s faithful reached out to us, claiming that she was DEFRAUDED by Tyra Banks and her show. The girl , who attends an IVY LEAGUE college, claims that she was pushed into lying on Tyra's show about being anorexic. Now she says that her life is ruined.
Here is her story:
My name is Lin W, and I am the actress/model who appeared on Tyra Banks' pregorexia segment that most recently aired on January 2010.You know there's TWO SIDES to every story. But if Tyra did this, she is REAL FOUL!!!!With last summer being the season that numerous models/actresses were getting preggo and looking skinny, [Tyra] decided to do a segment regarding this issue. I signed on to doing the show with a clear understanding that I as a model, would be explaining to America my healthy eating/diet habits that I adopted while pregnant. . . while also promoting a show that I recently appeared on.
Instead, 30mins before taping on the day of the show, the producers give me a script to memorize with lines about how I starve myself because I care what my boyfriend thinks, and staged responses to the questions Tyra would ask me (I only eat 2 cups of rice a day, I refuse to let myself gain weight, LIES LIES LIES)
The producers even took the footage I recorded, and wiped out all the detailed explanations i had given. . . instead leaving parts in to make me look like an anorexic.
Not to mention, Tyra hissing at me to "poke my tummy out to look more preggo" for more of a reaction when I get on stage, and 2 producers yelling at me to "cry" on que when pictures of malnourished babies came up.
Now I was under contract to do this, but the whole time during the show I was really confused and emotionless. like "wtf, this is so left field"
Basically, I was hired to portray a false image of myself. as an anorexic pregnant woman.
The result of this? Wave upon wave of people making threats to incarcerate me or put me in a hospital, my medical records were tapped into, and overall distress amongst my family.
I feel that Tyra needs to be put on blast for this, because her treatment towards me was wrong. Had i really been a lady with an eating disorder instead of some actress they paid to play this role, it really would've shaken that woman up.
All i want out of this is a re-taping and an apology. To switch up on me last minute and make me memorize lines to s*** that wasn't even asked.

As crazy and as nutty as this story sounds, I kind of believe this girl because I will never forget that episode that Tyra did about the "Chris Brown/ Rhianna situation" and she had two guests on her show that were also on T.I's show Road to Redemption. It was the couple where the guy never been to a college football game and T.I. took him to one.
Tyra had this couple on the show where the guy says that he beats up his girlfriend and they have a kid together. But this same couple was also on T.I.'s Road to Redemption. I forget thier whole situation on T.I.'s show, but all I rememeber was that the guy T.I. was trying to mentor had never been to a college football game and T.I. took him to one.
When I saw that same couple on Tyra's show, that was basically the last show I watched. I really respected Tyra up untill that point.
Luv-Lee - lol I saw both episodes (T.I and Tyra), I was trying to figure out if they were f'real or not.

This is not a good look for Tyra, this is like the third time someone's "outted" her .. some people on the show do seem a bit too extreme. I sometimes think why someone would choose to go on national television and admit some of these things they say/do.
Another thing,why does this chick suddenly feel the need to but Tyra "on blast" @ this point if she still agreed to continue taping despite her not liking the way things were going?
She signed the contract as well as got paid,correct? but now it's an issue?

where tha *** was i?? I only gained ten pounds during my pregnancy and it was all in my belly area and i ended up with a six pound five ounce strong little girl, perfectly healthy. and now i dont even qualify to give blood cuz im underweight. Ive applied to be on the tyra show before and never get picked because im not model pretty and probably too real for her. Oh and she is lying about being paid to lie. Her story doesnt make much sense attall.
wait this could be true. my mother friend was on tyra nd he had to lie about being married to a gold digger. yall can look it up. he was a black man with glasses nd they had kids on there talking bout marrying for money at like 9 yers old. i mean he said it wasn't bad cuz he got paid. she's probably really upset about it.
Tyra is a sellout! I've stopped watching her show for a very long time now. But at the same time Tyra didn't force that young lady to get on national television and lie. She knew what the deal was. But Tyra is a scandalous, lying, person. Not surprised by her at all. This is the same woman giving advise to our youth. These snakes in this grass I tell you.
she was a paid actress. she didnt have to take the pay. but she did. if tyra gave her these lines on paper all she had to do was keep the paper as proof that she was just acting. then when child welfare or whoever come by i would show them the paper wit the lines on it. TV and movies are not real everything is acted out including reality none of that stuff is real she didnt understand the game. its like playing a *** role and having people think you *** in real life. ALL of tv is acting except for the news.
F U C *** Tyra I hate that *** she so F U C *** I *** STUPID I gave mto the story that she was a *** last year they jus now reporting it a few weeks back cuz it's the truth and even the model judge from her LOW RATINGS model show said it herselfnon Wendy Williams show!!! That got contracted for 2 more years "how you doing Wendy"$$$$$$
Idk if I believe this story. Cause I saw this episode when it aired (& it did NOT air on January 2010) so that's a lie. & on the show the girl was the one disgusted by her own body in the mirror in her home. This chic is tryna get air time. Every talk show fabricates somethings; but this chic wholeheartedly agreed to do this. She need to stop.
How is she mad at Tyra? She should be filing a lawsuit with the producers. She dumb as hell anyway for signing up for the Tyra show. Everybody knew she's bougee and wack and does NOTHING for the black community. She be thinking she doin *** for young girls when actually she ain't doin nothing but acting fake as hell. Can't wait til her show gets cancelled and can stop exposing black people making us look worse.
mann Tyra shows are not FRAUD! If this girl is saying this..(IF)!! because i know MTO lies. But if she is saying all this, it is for attention! I really want to see if Tyra gets sued, & if she doesnt yu know this is a lie! & another thing, tyra could have gotten some real pregnorexia girl to do the show. sooo it does not make any since for her to get some random girl to do that. Chick find some other way to get money and not through tyra! & BTW I am a huge fan of tyra banks soo dont lie on her..shes a good role model.
OFCOURSE HER SHOW IS FAKE 90% OF ANY "REALITY" TV IS FAKE. EVEN THE COURT SHOWS ARE FAKE. I HAD A FRIEND ON JUDGE JUDY AND HE GOT PAID $2500 TO ACT OUT AN SCRIPT(CASE). TRYA BEEN EXPOSED B4 THO FOR MAKING A GUEST SEEM RACIST ON ONE OF HER RACIST EPISODES. THE PPL ON HER SHOW HAVE TO SIGN A CONTRACT THAT THEY CANT SAY ITS SCRIPTED OR THEY CAN GET SUED SO IF SHE SAID SUMTHING ITS HER FAULT.
