Here's how the NY Daily News is reporting it:
The towering 6-foot-6 Tesh and a barely out-of-her-teens Winfrey shared her Nashville apartment until he bolted in the middle of the night, according to the first-ever look inside the book, obtained by the Daily News.According to Kelley, the "social pressure" on an interracial couple in Tennessee at that time proved too much for Tesh to handle.
"He said one night he looked down and saw his white body next to her black body and couldn't take it anymore," another Tesh ex-paramour told Kelley.
"He walked out in the middle of the night. ... He told me he later felt very guilty about it."
I can honestly say, I've never been attarcted to any other race than my own. Idk, I just don't find them (WM) attarctive. Every time a white guy gives me a compliment, I find it soo interesting. @bushwine if that were the case I would not have had a white guy ask me to marry him a year ago. FYI I'm not one of those black women who worships white men or thinks that theyre some kinda friggen prince charming. speak for MY experience. Most of the looks I got when dating interracially came from black men. You have to understand that bw/wm relationships is not something i'm not used to seeing, my grandfather is white. Maybe black women are fetishized, but me PERSONALLY, I've never experienced being treated that way. Maybe me being lighter, they (wrongly!) saw me as closer to them? I really have no idea. All I know is that I have not been treated badly by white guys (due to my race).
and again, i don't put white guys on any kind of pedestal.
