: MediaTakeOut.com just received some SHOCKING news. American Idol star Fantasia Barrino was ATTACKED two nights ago inside a South Carolina club.
According to one of MediaTakeOut.com's snitches, Fantasia was hired to appear at a popular club – where she was supposed to meet and greet fans. Fanny reportedly arrived on time, walked around the club, mingled with fans and signed autographs.
But that wasn’t good enough for the promoter. MediaTakeOut.com’s snitch explained, “The club promoter was expecting more, so he asked [Fantasia] why she was not performing, and she replied ‘I’m not getting paid to perform.’”
Well that’s when things went left. Someone then threw a chair at Fanny – hitting her in the head. Now we can’t say for sure WHO threw the chair. But Fanny’s security believed that it was the promoter. Cause they beat the SNOT BUBBLES out of dude.
Last we heard, both Fanny and the promoter are expected to make a full recovery.

Reports of Fantasia being assaulted with a chair are inaccurate on several accounts. The location of Kush Lounge is in North Charleston, South Carolina, not North Carolina. Fantasia was indeed contracted to make an appearance at the *** club and not only honored that commitment, but also performed. The altercation took place between Fantasia's bodyguard and the club owner (not the promoter) who was inebriated and overly-aggressive in his efforts to meet Fantasia. Fantasia was escorted out the club and neither assaulted nor injured during this dispute.
