I don't know the first thing about boxing and my boyfriend made me watch that Mayweather/Mosley 24/7 special. Then he was like "who do you think is gonna win, because that's who I'm betting on" I said "you better not bet on that Mosley man, he already looks like a defeated slave, that man has no fight in him, he looks like he's ready to lose" so my man bet on Mayweather. Guess I was right.
I guess my prediction was way off. I didn't see the actual fight, I just don't see how Mayweather could've won against an obviously stronger opponent. Mosley can beat a lot of fighters two weight classes above him as Mayweather refused to move up even though he could've easily. If he won unanimously over Mosley, than I'm pretty sure he can easily destroy Pacqaio. As far as I'm concerned, he'd be wasting his time with the pint sized Phillipino. He should fight Berto for a real test of might!

It was a good fight, Shane is no slouch he's just not an endurance fighter like Floyd, if he could have kept up like he did in the 2nd round he def could have knocked Floyd out... youth and stamina were on Floyd's side BUT I think he's scared as hell to fight Pacquiao b/c he's wild as ***
Yeah the fight was fixed. Goldenboy was set to make a helluva lot of money off the Mayweather / Pacquao fight. When it didn't happen, they threw Mosely into the lions den. Alot of people think mosely didn't make that much from the fight. Mosely is part owner of Golden Boy, so he was getting paid off of any fight Mayweather fought weather it was mosely who was the opponent or not. Real talk... My homie is an insider and he told me that the Matweather / Pacquao fight will take place in December. Now ur in tha know.....
Some people need to cut it out with the excuses. Shaky Shane Mosley was well conditioned to go 12 rounds. The problem was he got in the ring with the best pound for pound fighter Floyd Mayweather and got his *** whooped. He tried to fight Floyd's fight and that obviously didn't work out too good for ya boy. He was way too f***** jittery in the ring. Ya boy was doing the Soulja Boy Superman dance last ***. I guess I was just looking for Mayweather to do more damage than he actually did...I don't see what the bragging bought forth...If he had him searching for his mouth piece that would be a different story...But Sugar was still standin at the end?!...So......*shruggz*...Yeah he beat him, but he made it seem like he was gonna chew him up...I'll draw my conclusions on his tenacity when and IF he fights Pacquiao,He may go the brawn- but he fears losing his facial appearance to a fight with Pacquiao.

Floyd Mayweather is arrogant and *** because he can back it up. Not only is he the best pound for pound boxer, he's also one of the best athletes in the world. He used to be humble when he was coming up in the ranks, but that wasn't selling tickets. He wasn't always ***, but once you reach a certain status in the sport like he has, you have to make yourself marketable. That's what Floyd does so well. Keep in mind that Boxing is also ENTERTAINMENT. Floyd is an entertainer. He has to sell tickets. Make the fans want to see your fights.

There's no question Floyd is one of the best fighters of the last twenty years. Of course, Aaron Pryor or Tommy Hearns, or even a prime Leonard would destroy him. And of course, if we weren't living in the Alphabet Soup era, he would have one or two belts. Objectively, Pacquiao has accomplished more, and either he or Paul Williams stand a good chance of deconstructing Floyd.
Of course, no one on this site wants to hear actual boxing knowledge, so let me just add to the chorus of stupidity: Floyd be mad cute and he my baby and he done whooped Shane's ***!!!
Floyd won the fight, and I won't take credit from the man for doing that; however, Shane would've beaten the brakes off Floyd if he a) didn't let his self-doubt get to him or b) hadn't taken money to fix the fight.
MediaTakeOut can show all the pics they want, but there ain't no fight footage that shows Shane getting buckled like Floyd did in round 2. Shane hit Floyd so hard it looked like Floyd was looking around the ring floor for the change Shane knocked out of his pockets.
If Floyd "beat" Shane down, why it take 12 rounds with no KO to "do Shane in?" Check the compubox numbers folks and know this fight don't smell right. Shane's stats from round 3 on looked like those of a cruiser weight fighter. Shane threw one-third of the punches Floyd threw. Now anybody who's followed Shane's career or utilizes common sense when analyzing PROFESSIONAL boxing knows that even in a sparring session, Shane throws more blows than that. Shane couldn't even look the post-fight interviewer in the eyes when he was explaining how he gave up, I mean, lost the fight - another uncharacteristic trait of Shane.
Floyd is a tremendous boxer, but I just don't think this was a genuine battle between pugilists.
@SugarSisStar Did you really just waste half a paragraph about Mosely winning round two. Big *** deal! It was a twelve round fight. Floyd is so good that people actually get happy when he loses a round or actually get hit hard. If you follow boxing, most fighters get wobbled or dropped quite often. It's so rare for Floyd to get hurt that people celebrate that. Ali got dropped a few times. Pac has lost two fights by getting knocked out with BODY ***. So calm down because you actually saw Floyd lose a round!
For all you FAKE boxing fans!..Shane Mosley is the only one in that weight division that could have beaten Mayweather in terms of when we talk about skills (speed/power etc)! Now that Mayweather has beaten Mosley then he definitely can beat Pacquiao!...as a matter of fact Mosley can beat Pacquiao!...real talk...but I was hoping that Mosley would have beaten Floyd tho, you could tell that the age difference had played a big role....not hating tho...Floyd is a good fighter hands down, but I've been a Shane Mosley fan for years!
man it was definitely a good fight. that 2nd round was crazy cuz i had 150 on mayweather and i got real nervous when shane rocked him a couple times! i dont think he was all the way hurt but mayweather was definitely stunned like i aint never seen before. but i think it made him mad cuz in that 3rd round he came out swingin and from there on out he was tattooin mosley. mayweather jus simply outsmarted mosley and outboxed him. i think that mosley is the only 1 that coulda beat him because of the strength and he can match money speed. i definitely dont think pacquiao can beat money now.
This was a good fight for boxing, which believe it or not is a dying sport. I seen someone said that ppl can't name 5 boxers out now. Well we can't because boxing doesn't have that it person besides mayweather. In the 80 and 90's u had real boxers and now we have guys more worrying about partying and making money. Most of the boxing fans have gone to mma because let's face it, it's more entertaining and brutal.
And what's messed up is that I was tryng to order it because comcast wasn't able to give me the fight because techincal difficulties. But mayweather is flashy and *** but give it to the dude he works hard and can fight. PAC I believe is scared that if he gets tested, that it will prove he's using the cream. I don't think he's scared of mayweather just getting caught doing something he's not suppose too. But he can't run and hide forever. Eventually, he gonna have to fight him or have his legacy with a question mark on it.
