: MediaTakeOut.com just got a very DISTURBING piece of news. A Seattle Washington man (pictured above) named Graydon Smith was under ARREST for abusing his pregnant girlfriend. But he has an INTERESTING DEFENSE to the claim of domestic violence - his girlfriend SIGNED A CONTRACT, allowing him to BEAT HER!!!
Here's what we know so far. Graydon had a history of ABUSING his 19 year old pregnant girlfriend. Police were called a NUMBER of times to 31-year-old Graydon's parents home (where Graydon lived).
But it wasn't until Graydon attacked his girlfriend in FRONT OF HER DAD that the law got involved. The father attempted to stop Graydon from choking the pregnant teen. Graydon attacked her dad, punching him in the face.
The father then called police who found the girlfriend bleeding from the face with a contusion on the back of her head. Graydon was arrested and charged with second-degree assault, two counts of fourth-degree assault and two counts of felony harassment.
But here's where the story gets INTERESTING. Graydon claims that his girlfriend ALLOWED him to bet her. In fact he has a SIGNED CONTRACT by her. In the contract the woman agrees to allow Graydon to punch her "in perpetuity" with the only restriction that he is not allowed to strike her "in the belly, during pregnancy." The contract is signed by both Graydon and the girlfriend and notarized by a notary public.
What makes this interesting is that UNDER THE LAW, a person can not be charged with ASSAULT if the assaulting party CONSENTS to being hit (think about how a boxer can't be arrested for KO'ing his opponent).
Sounds like he may get off on this one. They need to make an episode of Law & Order out of this one . . .

I am not sure what your intentions are with the numerous comments that you continute to make but one thing is certain. You have issues that need serious attention. Actually he's not mto. The prosecuters r gonna say the gf signed the contract under degress. And another thing, the prosecuter is also gonna say that he's also abusing another person, who cannot sign anything legally until they r 18 yrs old. Which is the baby. She can sign away all she wants. And here's the kicker. Since she signed that he can hit just her and not the stomach where the baby is because she is protecting the baby, the state can say by law u cannot hit a pregnant woman and there r no exceptions because the mother and the baby r one.
So if he hits her so hard that it makes her fall. The childs life is now endanger. So he is gonna go to jail. Trust me. If I was this ADA I would get him any way i can, just to let the guys in jail beat the *** out of him. I'll send his *** to the most dangerous prison. Even if it's for 30 days. And I'll tell the prisoners if u just beat the *** everyday, and rape him, I'll reduce ur sentence. But as long as they don't kill him. And plus I would get the guards to watch over him so he can't kill himself.
Here's the kicker though...her father did not have a contract with this hill billy deliverance red neck so he can file charges.
There are some things black women do, but this is all white people here. Always trying to legally find a way to break the law. I bet he has a tiny ***. And she is stupid for allowing that foolishness.

That contract is NOT legal....Any contract that tries to over-ride the law will not stand up in court. In this case, he tried to deprive her of her basic human right....Safety from Violence, which is unlawful.
Therefore that contract is worthless. Furthermore, if she signed it under threat of violence, that would also make the contract invalid, irrespective of the content of the contract.
I don't know why Fred (a fcuking lawyer!) would state others on his blog....oh yeah, MTO is all about the money. SMDH!

You can't contract to do something that is illegal. It's like A and B contracting for A to sell B heroine for $100. If A doesn't sell B the heroine, B can't take A to court and sue him for breach of contract because heroine is illegal. No court would say "well heroine is illegal but, you made a contract so A you have to sell it to B or pay him damages.

well he def busted her up in that head so much she actually thinks she can't miscarry from sustained head injuries and stress. Smith admitted to police that he had made his girlfriend, who has not been named, sign the contract giving him free rein to carry out domestic abuse. Seattle police detective Elizabeth Ellis said: 'Graydon made her sign a statement giving him permission to physically abuse her anywhere on her body except on her pregnant belly.' When police arrested Smith they found his girlfriend with bruises and cuts to her face. She confirmed her boyfriend was responsible for the assault. Unemployed Smith has been charged with assault and harassment. He is being held on £75,000 bond.

I just feel sorry for that poor child to be brought in this world growing and seeing his/her mother getting beat on by the father. And the mother saying oh baby it's ok I signed a contract. That poor baby has no chance. Mto will be reporting later REMEMBER THAT STORY WE TOLD YOU ABOUT THE LADY THAT SIGN THE cONTRACT TO GET BEAT WELL SHE FINALLY GOT WHAT SHE ASKED FOR.
I cannot tolerate these stupid *** that allow their dumb *** bf, husbands or whatever to beat them time and time again. They don't realize the hell they're putting their children thru. There should be a law to protect children from being raised in abusive homes (even though they, themselves are not being abuse). Y?
