: We here at MediaTakeOut.com are pretty big fans of the HBO show True Blood. So that's why we found it SURPRISING when we learned that the actor who plays LAFAYETTE is claiming that he's STRAIGHT.
He even has a lovely girlfriend that he brings out to red carpet events. Well . . . ummm . . . either that dude deserves an OSCAR . . . or he's got SWEETNESS running though his veins. (And we ain't talking DIABETES either . . . OKKKKAAAAY)

MTO stop the bullsh*t!! He is an ACTOR, he's supposed to be convincing at what he does! I've also seen him in roles as a straight guy and he was equally "convincing". I saw episode one this year and aside from the makeup, he's acting a lot less "***" than previous seasons...wonder if that's because of hater sites like yours????

Ironic,the majority of,and I mean high 90s,black people on TV/Movies have to make good of their rolls that devoid them of their masculinity,INTELLIGENCE,MORALS ETC.the thing that really gets me is the commercials.If your not overweight or have crazy hair I guess it's a waist to hire black. you have to go tribal to satisfy them.Look at TV ladies and gents and count the sexy black people and then count the ones that make you say ill.When they show black couples they show undesirable overweight or alien looking people.If your going to be careless or funny leave the black casting to blacks

Lawrence Fishbourne played Ike Turner very well doesn't mean he's a wife beater. Give him props for being on one of the biggest shows on TV right now.
Stabler from Law and Order was on Oz and was tongue kissing the hell out of that dude but in reality he is str8, married with kids! Also Dexter was on six feet under playing a *** man kissing that fine black dude! He is also married! Its called acting folks! Forgive me because I can't remember these actors names!

LaFayette is excellent in True Blood. He's one of the main characters who makes the show what it is. He was supposed to have a small part and then get cut out. People like him so much that the writer has kept him in. I'm not even going to comment on his lifestyle. I respect him as an actor and the rest is whateva.

I don't actually believe buddy is a ***, but he "is" a part of the HollyWeird industry, so you never know. I don't think he's actually ***, he just plays one. Come to think of it, he's never really had any kind of *** scene that I'm aware of on True Blood since he's been part of the show. Now the dude Mechad Brooks who the ladies love so much is definitely ***.

I love him on the show! He cracks me up! If they ever kill him off, I will stop watchin. Hollywood give this guy some more work. We have alot of talented brothers. I tired of seeing the same OLD faces: Samuel Jackson, Denzel, Morgan and Danny. Give me more Columbus ***, Don Cheadle,Jeffrey Wright (great character actor).
