: MediaTakeOut.com is SAD to report that soul singer MAXWELL has CANCELED the second leg of his nationwide concert with Erykah Badu and Jill Scott.
The concert had been SELLING OUT all over the country (for example they SOLD OUT the 20,000 seat Madison Sq Garden in NY and the 25,000 seat Staples Center in LA).
So what happened??? Well according to a MediaTakeOut.com snitch, Maxwell has been acting like a real DIVA. And when Erykah and Jill CHECKED HIM . . . he decided to walk away.
So what happens if you have TICKETS??? Well . . . WE DON'T KNOW!!! We were told by our insider that all shows AFTER JUNE 26TH would be canceled. But then we learned that tomorrow night's concert in DC has been canceled.
I think I speak for all Jill Erykah and Maxwell fans when I say . . . Maxwell . . . STOP BEING A BEEYOTCH . . . and go out there and sing . . .

@msmogule... Um before u speak about the mans career u should do some research, sweetie. The man took a seven year break and came back as if he never left, staying on the top of the charts for months. I love Maxwell and refuse to believe this nonsense. Went to both of his concerts and they all had an amazing chemistry together. MTO resources r non exsistint either they steal other peoples stories or they just make em up for views... Nuff said. He came to Atlanta and his *** was mad standoffish. He wouldn't take picture for people that had tix to his show, no autographs...nothing. He did give a half *** dry thank you to Atlanta for coming out to support him, then he sat back down on the couch with his latin/white/mixed girlfriend.
Date who you want, I don't care, but don't do folks that support you and buy your ish! That's how you make your money! That's why artist that show love and appreciate their fans last so long.

This is all ***! A *** is something that Maxwell is not! He did not pull out of the concert, someone else did, one thing I can say about Maxwell is that he loves his fans and definitely would not disappoint them. It is unfortunate that people believe everything that they hear. Yes the concert is cancelled for now, but not on the account of Maxwell! So the actual *** would not be Maxwell, stop defaming his character, when none of you know how good that Man's heart is! For future references he is not a DIVA, but a MAN!! Stop being so quick to judge, it is not our job to do that!
MTO sit the *** down with that one because everybody knows Erykah Badu seems to be losing her mind (walking through the city & *** with No clothes on, like children are Not around) and isn't Jill Scott being sued by her label?? So if Maxwell is being a Diva or should I say Divo!!... I'm sure they're behaving just as bad as he is!! But somebody would *** well be giving me my money back!
But, I would like to say that I also think that is unfortunate that African Americans would act like this and pull out of a concert, this is for the fans, and not for selfish ***. Maxwell didn't have to do another Tour, if he didn't want to, he just did a tour last year, which was successful and won a grammy! Again, he would not have disappointed his fans in this manner.....
Jill showed him up in Chicago. She has a powerful presence! BIG TIME. He had weak vocals. Band was too loud. Too bad for all the charities he said he was donating to. I'd definitely go see them without maxwell. Erykah and Jill probably told him to get his act together b/c he wasn't pulling his weight. He took his toy and went home. So simple, maybe.
What the *** MTO? Why HE gotta be all kind of bytches? Maybe Erykah crazy baby having *** or Jill fat, bitter, angry *** are the ones with all the attitude and negativity? I can't even imagine Maxwell losing his cool or envision him being affected by his environment. He seem pretty level headed and very down to earth. Maxwell a diva?! Nah I don't think so MTO. But WOW! Jill Scott, Erykah Badu and Maxwell together?! This sound like a helluva concert. I wish I was there.
Hold up ya'll, don't believe the hype! I don't know where MTO gettin they info from BUT I just received an email( I happen to be a Maxwell fan and lover) that they cancelled his concerts due to conflicted scheduling and He, Jill Scott and the other lady are to continue out the rest of the month of June touring. So help me understand how they twisted this all up into a drama?
I saw Jil Soctt & Maxwell in the ATL on Saturday(6/12) & I must tell you from my prospective Jil was Phenomenal. This was the @nd time I've seen her. My 1st time for Maxwell and he was absolutely "TERRIBLE."! I was told he did great on Friday *** show with Eric B. I was turly disappointed, because I Love his music. Still sounded like S--T though!
Ive worked with Maxwell and his management and they are HORRIBLE! They do act like divas and have demands that not event the President of the United States ask for. Working with them TOTALLY turned me off from Maxwell. His manager even said he's bigger than Michael Jackson (right after Mike died)...dillusional. It is his fault no doubt.
I've worked with Jill & Erykah and they are not like that (other than you can never get Erykah off the mic).
Intelligent people don't automatically take everything they hear and accept it as fact. We don't know what happened, and whatever it is there is no excuse for ruining someone's reputation without any factual basis. And did you ever stop to think that maybe Jill and Eryka didn't want to play second to Maxwell?? Both of these women have always been headliners, now suddenly they are opening for Maxwell? I can't imagaine that either woman would be happy about that. But like I said, we don't know what happened, and speculation is NOT fact.
