In 2009 he got a reduced sentenced involving drugs and weapon charges with a plea agreement. It feels handy and convenient that a jail condemnation helps a rapper’s career while it would just crumple a normal person’s life. The music he wrote after his sentencing bragged about getting away with crime and mocking the justice system. Guess he forgot that he was a black man in America. Granted he made money as a rapper, but he’s definitely not a smart business man if you’re still dealing drugs when you got a career. Even if he didn’t pull the trigger on this latest case, one is judged always by the company he keeps. Under the law, guilt by association is tangible enough to put you away for life. Some people are not smart enough to know that sometimes you have to pull yourself away from past relationships in order to have a better future.
