If it's true that Tyler is suing, he is not going to win and get this episode banned.
Just like Mad Magazine and Saturday *** Live, the Boondocks uses PARODY and SATIRE which is protected.
Tyler's name wasn't even mentioned in the episode at all. The Boondocks writers created a FICTIONAL character that was similar to Tyler so they could get away with it. In court, they can always lie and say that the story is fiction and has nothing to do Tyler.
Much to Tyler's frustration, this is an episode that people will be enjoying for years to come.....

I really want to support Tyler Perry as a successful black man in Hollywood but his shows are simply not funny at all.
