: Yesterday, MediaTakeOut.com showed you a video of Maia Campbell - acting like a straight up CRACKHEAD. Well we can tell you that the video was NOT TAKEN IN THE LAST FEW DAYS.
And we know this because Maia has been LOCKED UP since early July. MediaTakeOut.com learned that police caught her driving while HIGH ON DRUGS and they arrested her. She's been unable to make bail - so she's currently sitting in the Los Angeles county jail.
But the story gets even worse. We ran a quick check of Maia's CRIMINAL HISTORY - and we learned that very recently she was arrested - and found GUILTY of prostitution (see below).
This is so sad to see . . . but no one can help her unless she wants to help herself. Good luck Maia . .

this site is on some hypocritical B.S.!!! When they post an article about a brother or sister who's tryin to do somethin then they look for any way they can to salt them. Good Morning MTO..I'm Glad to hear that she is off the street for now. I feel better knowing that she is in jail than on the street. That way she can't be a danger to herself. It's a sad situation. She is not a lost cause. Less put out our blessing to her and her family. Thank God she is safe for now and I hope they don't release her..I hope the put her in the hospital on medication. She needs to be on medication under supervision. After hospitalization..she needs supervision. Perhaps they can get it as a court order. That would be great. She's in a state where she can't do it alone..she doesn't know what she's doing. It's not so simple when the mind is jacked up like that. I want to see her get the help she needs.
This young lady needs some guidance and probably never really had a chance to cope the loss of her mother, so of course she turning to drug addiction and prostitution to substitute her grief. I just hope she will receive the help that she needs so get off drugs and share her story with other young women dealing with the same issues she can be an advocate for change praying for you Maia .

Who could possibly in their right mind think this is funny? This is a problem that grows worst in society, to the rich and famous to the poor and unknown. We are individuals so we make our own decisions, but at the same time when facing an obstacle as destructive as drugs, crime, and violence, sometimes prayer is needed. She is indeed in jail. Let's thank God for that. Because she is safe for now. She goes before the judge tomorrow. While in if it is assessed that she is indeed bi-polar that she will be treated. However. If the court does not give her a mandatory in and out treatment program, she can be right back on the street again. They may treat her there charge her with whatever and release her. It can be a reoccurring cycle like her mother wrote about in the book "72 Hour Hold". Unless they by court order. Legally they can hold her for the mental thing for 72 hours.
This has been going on with her on and off. She may be doing some drugs but you can tell that its a psyche thing she is experiencing. Drug addicts don't talk that fast. She is on a bi-polar high in that video. Please all friend and those who know her she needs you. People in this state are at an infantile stage. They may say they don't need you, they may say mean things, even cuss you out, but they need you. They don't know what they are saying and doing. Sometimes they zone in and out. Some of the peoples comments are real sad because there is no sympathy in the black community for black women who have these type of issues they are exploited and used. A lot of women hell some on this site have mental issues are extremely promiscuous and might be suffer from the same illness. Blacks people men and women can be so cruel and insensitive sometimes to one another.

While in jail they can treat her. But if they release her it can start all over again. The problem is that it takes a long time for drugs to really get into a person's system. People are release and people wonder why they relapse. If you spend 72 hours in the hospital and they treat you and release you with a bottle of pills. You are still so jacked up in the head sometimes you might take all those pill on that first day. It really is a child like state. You need someone to actually watch you take that pill for a while. Those pills needs to get into your system.
After that you need to be monitored. If you start working again they need to monitor how those stresses affect you while on that medication. It is not as simple as being given a bottle of pills and taking it. A person can be so jacked up that they don't have the sense to know what time of day to take which pill, how many to take,etc. At least she is in jail for the ***. Thank God she is off the street and safe for the ***. Let's pray for Maia and her family. Because it is hard on the family too. A lot of times they've done all that they know to do.
