I'm from Tx and I've seen Black women in all sorts of hair styles. It is just like any other part of the USA. I can understand why that one Texas lady is set on keeping her hair relaxed and wrapped. I am personally not offended by her comments. We do not share the same opinion about relaxed hair of society's views. From my experience, black people are not judged by their hair in this century. I have worn my hair relaxed and now growing out my relaxer instead of cutting it all off like I did once before. Sometimes I wear extensions or wigs,or just my hair. No biggie. I'm not my hair.
