Of course with the system the way it is there is going to be crime. Some people call it a balance but it's rather inbalanced. MTO doesn't own the video yet it's posted on their site and they won't remove it. SMH These types of things happen all over the place (Not only in NY contrary to popular belief), but it's more prominent in areas like this because survival is more difficult. Not to say people can't get out of these situations, cause I think some people create their own misfortunes. However when you're born into these situations, have no guidance, no models of success, no aspirations other than getting money than you're set-up for failure. Do you HAVE to fail. No!!!Regardless of the ruckus around you, the people who want to call you a lame for doing something with yourself, and the people who want to see you fail, you can create a better life for yourself. The system maybe created faulty, but you don't have to be. If you fall into it and become a # (start sporting that orange jumpsuit) then it will be 10Xs harder to live. Not preaching, but if we want to stop losing (innocent) lives then we have got to STEP-UP and I ain't talking bout a dance movie. It's sad to see that people in positions really to do something can do nothing more than say "there they go again" until it's somebody in their family either involved in something like this or affected by it. When is enough enough???? SMH *** to all the people who are making a difference/doing something positive in their neighborhoods and with their lives. POWER TO THE PEOPLE!!!!
