Even, if the marriage does not last, both parents will most likely be there for the children. Honestly, how often do you hear about a EX-HUSBAND not taking care of his responsibility? not often. First, lets talk to the MILLIONS of divorced people who never made it past 1 year! Or how about those that divorce as soon as children and expenses come into play! Keep in mind that this is not just rare, random situations and scenarios----this, along with cheating, occurs in more than HALF of divorce cases. Marriage before children guarantees absolutely NOTHING and vice-verse. You totally missed the point I was trying to make. I agree with you when you say that nothing is guaranteed. I said that you have a BETTER CHANCE in a relationship if you get married 1st rather than have children. I don't think its a good idea to have children outside of marriage.It is a known fact that kids that grow up with BOTH of their parents in their lives tend to be better off than kids that only have one parent. For example: most girls that grow up w/out a real father-figure in their lives tend to be wild and "fast". They go from man to man looking to feel a void.
