This is what the friend said:
While Mario was of town recording in New York, his mother had relapsed back into drugs and she was using his personal debit card to purchase illegal narcotics, aka heroin. When Mario returned home (on the 25th of September) and confronted his mother about her actions she became enraged and an argument escalated, his Mom called 911 claiming that Mario got physical with her.And Mario's official representative chimed in to say the following:
Since Mario's release on bail, Mario has returned home and is working at getting his mother back into a treatment center for her recent relapse for drugs.We knew something like this happened . . ."This is an unfortunate incident between a loving son and a mother who continues to struggle with a devastating addiction. Anyone who has waged the battle to save loved ones from the forces of drugs knows the irrational behavior that almost always accompanies their actions. Despite the allegations, Mario remains committed to supporting his mother.
No, MTO, he got locked up because he commited a crime. Ya'll are the mose ignorant mofos around, I swear. Even if she did get back on drugs and steal his money, that doesn't give him the right to assault her. If he says to the judge "well she took my credit card so I HAD to punch her in the face!" what do you think the judge is gonna say? "Ohh I see. OK you can go now!" NO! He is gonna convict him of a crime like he should!
People need to be accountable for their actions! Mario should have filed a police report, not hit her!
The best way for her to get help is tuff love. No one wants to see their mother locked up or on da streets but the court will order get to rehab or jail, she will be drug free *** safer either eat. File charges for theft and making a false police report. I know parents *** siblings who did this and as heart breaking as it was, it helped in the end.
Mario is obviously frustrated with his Moms who was off them Narcotics for minute now she has relapsed I know he is trying his best to help her but he has to take a step back and let her make the decision on wanting to get off the Drugs and changing her life around if she can't do that for him its time to just cut her off maybe for good
We all saw the mtv special about him, his mom & her battle w/this ugly disease. He's VERY mature! This man LOVES his mother & just don't kno what to do w/her. He's an enabler b/c he been takin care of her so long that he just can't bring himself no to. She was so blatently taking advantage of the fact that he's her son. for a Son/Daughter to see their Parent in a bad place.. It's hard..I hope that he get the support he needs from the rest of the Family to make this happen again.. It doesn't matter about a relapse, it's about trying to keep the person on the ***, away from it mentally.. That's a hard decision. For a Young Man to step up and try his best to resolve the problem in one way or another is not an easy thing. I wish him the best! I figured somethin' like that..smh I know this sound tough, but he might just have to let her go for awhile. He has tried and tried to help her stay on the right track, but some people just still don't do right. They have to want to or it will be a waste of time to the person trying to help them. Stop trying to save someone who don't wanna be saved. And now this is dragging him down too. Getting him arrested and having this all in the media! He needs to start giving her that tough love and cut her loose for awhile.
His mother is blessed to have a such a supportive son. Mario may have to let his drug addict mama go if she keep relapsing. All drug addicts do is steal for one thing. Plus dem drugs keep them on edge 24/7. If he can deal with her, more power to him. I know that's his mama but ***, she's doing too much foreal. Everyone has a breaking point.

its so easy to ridicule ppl when u have no idea of what its like to live with an addict. she's struggling and he's struggling to understand what she's going thru. its hard and NO ONE has the right to point fingers. u have no idea of how u will react until u r faced with it. keep that in mind when forming an opinion ppl...they need prayer not criticism. those of u that say that's his mother, blah, blah, blah, u cant compare his mother to ur mother. his mother is an addict thats struggling to stop. its not as easy as just say no..wtf
her battle is ongoing and everyday is a new struggle for her. some days she's stronger than other days. please dont judge them. they are obviously struggling with this. to those of u that have never experienced drug addiction, start taking notes, learn from this and never think u have all the answers to using; there is no way to use effectively. there is no MANAGING drug addiction.
