LOOOOVE HER!!!!! Her first album was THE TRUTH!!! If you slept on it, then you missed out. The only songs on her second album that I liked were the one's that Ne-Yo wrote or was singing background on (Porcaline Doll, What You Do, Epiphany) But I really like those three songs though. I can't WAIT until her album drops. It sucks that (i think) it is coming on the same day as El DeBarge (11/30/10). I will be getting BOTH!!

@beautifulnblack10 - perhaps that's part of the problem. Black women have been made to feel ugly in our society for a myriad of reasons - the most obvious being the destruction of the black family as a unit. I'm 50 years old so I certainly remember being described as having thick lips, "pronounced" buttocks, nappy hair and I remember feeling that my black was ugly. I hear many brothers exclaim "be natural" to the sistahs only to choose Becky anyway. The problem is deeper than fashion folks.

I never understood how people can see that someone doesn't look good with their natural hair; that is how God intended for their hair to be. I think I like her with longer hair. When you cut off your hair the sole focus is on your face, you have to step up you make-up game. She needs a better formula for that foundation. She is underrated because she is super talented. She has a timeless voice. The 2nd album ain't touching the 1st. She just has to find her sound. I think she is still trying to find her niche. I personally think it was album #1!!

As a woman who has natural hair, Its empowering but not for anyone who lacks confidence to pull the look together you have to feel the look as well as exude it daily! Personally I think she could rock a paper bag and still be on point! So many factors for the pictures....lighting,bad angles and last but not least Bad Makeup! We all have our bad days and I for one am glad when im having one cameras not flashing in my face examining every flaw and exposing it to the criticism that stars have to go through...Sigh the price of fame I guess! Smh
Ms. Michelle and another artist (Musiq SoulChild) came out last summer to the Brooklyn Concert Series (NYC) and really Blew The House down!!!
I was Surprised that said artists were so popular! It was SO many people that at a certain point the authorities had to stop admitting people onto the field. The crowd just spilled out into the surrounding streets!
