Guess who took Ciara out for a 2am breakfast after her surprise party? None other than Hakeem Nicks, wide receiver for the NY Giants. Hakeem met Ciara after expressing his interest to Kim Kardahian (whom she knows through her ex Reggie). Kim is very protective of Ciara and was hesitant to do it unless she was convinced he was serious and not just trying to "conqer" Ciara. She also knew that Ciara had no interest in dating an athlete. He must have done something right because after months of pleading with Kim, Kim invited Hakeem to a surprise party for Ciara when she came to NY where Kim currently resides for the filming of her reality show.Hakeem introduced himself immediately after Ciara arrived with roses in tow. He remained posted under the cut at the party (I'm sure there are pics) and gave C her space as she entertained the attention of a few eligible ballers that came through that night. The guy must be confident because he left the party with Ciara. Okay so it was with Ciara and Kim (Ciara is staying at kims hotel while she is in town). They rode with him to Kims hotel.
With the persistence of Kim, Ciara said yes to a late/early afterparty breakfast for two set up by Hakeem with the help of Kim in her private hotel suite which had been doctored up with flowers and a dim lit ambiance while Kim went down the hall to her sisters room so that the 2 could get acquitted.
By all accounts Hakeem passed the test because Ciara cannot stop talking about what a great time she had with him. Kim may be many things but you can't say she ain't looking out for her girl.
But how does he stack up against the "others" courting Ciara right now?
