Your a *** idiot...if you do your research on Lupus, most patients have to take steriods that causes weight gain, especially in the face. Trust me...I'm experiencing it first hand. Lupus is an autoimmune disease.....typical treatments for autoimmune diseases include steroids, which are supposed to supress your immune system. Now, one of the side effects of steroids, is that make your face look swollen.....I know from experience....

They usually prescribe "Prednisone," a type of steroids, to keep the symptoms of lupus at bey. Hence, the rapid weight gain.
