An upcoming movie, based on the comic book Thor, will give the Aesir an insulting multi-cultural make-over. One of the Gods will be played by Hip Hop DJ Elba.
The character Elba plays, Heimdall, is sometimes referred to as the “White God” and is regularly portrayed as such, even in the Thor comic books. However, the CofCC themselves call the Norse Gods “mythology” in their headline. And, by definition, mythology is allegorical – a story. Not real.
Idris Elba himself pointed out the same thing when asked about the boycott

I'll go see Thor simply for the fact that they are boycotting it. We have had white people playing other races in movies for years. They played black people, Arabs, Mexicans, and Native Americans and call those movies classics.

Seeing as the group boycotting the movie pride themselves in being conservative Republicans, I have to give MTO a RARE thumbs up on their title. The group is called Council of Conservative Citizens. They ARE in fact boycotting the movie for the reason MTO gave above. For once (even thought they pretty much did a copy/paste of the story from Slashfilm) MTO has a completely factual story.
