: Why would anyone wear that to the prom . ..
When you think about how "Hard and Intricate" knitting really is and the DETAIL that went into making that dress you really got to give it up to whomever sewed it. STOP HATING! But in actuality a person has to be artistic to even appreciate that dress. The whole design was created around what a young girl like her would want a prom dress to look like and she looks great in it. The designer is hella talented trust me....4u2
Well at least grandma has space in the living room with all that yarn gone! Granny couldn't get none of the grands to wear them dang knitted hats but she tricked her ghetto grandaughter into this hot mess of a prom dress. Mama aint got no money but granny can knit a prom dress. Go granny you got game!
After further review, the ruling on the blog stands. I think whomever crocheted this did a helluva job. This is an original. There's no pattern for this. At least, I don't think there is. I can see it now--Jo-Ann Fabrics Book of Crochet/Knit Prom/Stripper Dresses of the New Millenium.
It looks as if the "jacket" comes off and the dress is halter style.
@datouch: it's obvious you've never dated a REAL black woman. You were only able to attract the hoodrats & busted ones. Even though you choose to date outside your race, I wouldn't be surprised that's all you still attract bc there's something in you that attracts that type of woman. Step ya game up & maybe u'll get the chance to experience a REAL woman. Until then us real women, black white latina & asian, would vomit before touching a man like u with such an ignorant personality. I'm sure u couldn't handle a real black woman. We wouldn't claim a sorry man like yourself.
i've seen worse;; i actually kind of think it's cute if it were for some type of African event ...it kinda has an African type print/pattern to it!! I actually diq it ...and at least she's not a piq tryna fit in a blanket. Put her hair up in some bantu knots or pin curls and she woulda been GOOD TO GO!
