: MediaTakeOut.com learned that R&B singer Monica got SECRETLY MARRIED a few days before Thanksgiving.
She had been engaged to NBA player Shannon Brown, whom she met in June. So why hasn't she told anyone about it?
An insider told MediaTakeOut.com, "Monica wants to get a reality show like LaLa surrounding her wedding. And that meant that they'd have to wait until AFTER the season to film it." The insider added,"But Monica was not about to move herself and her kids half way across the country [to LA] without being married."

I love me some Monica but if this is true I just have to smh @ her. I understand what it's like to be in love but rebound relationships are the WORST and when you bring children into the mix its even more disasterous. As a parent, you have to learn to put your children and what's best for them FIRST. She JUST broke up with Rocko whom she was engaged to, living with, filming a reality show with, and has two children with. Don't you ever think that your sons may be a tad bit confused about their new stepdad? I think it all may be happening too fast and then HE has a brand new baby that's under or around 1 year old if I'm not mistaken. It's none of my business but it just seems like she's been in a relationship for the past 10 years. C-Murder, then the guy that killed himself in front of her, then Rocko, and now Shannon Brown. Sometimes its good to just take a step back and get to know YOU. You don't HAVE to be with somebody everytime you turn around. WTH, married in FIVE months. It takes a WHOLE lot longer to REALLY KNOWN SOMEONE! I would suggest, you live with that man or woman first. You NEVER REALLY KNOW someone unitl you live with them. You find out all kinds of things, you don't like and can't live with. They rushed SUPER FAST! People just don't take the TIME today, that is why relationships go downhill and can't recover. You can be engaged at least a couple of years. SMH, @ these two!
I remember, we all use to call Monica Ms. Stringbean instead, of Ms. Thang. She can sing, I will give her that. I don't say many can sing. I just think she is trying to have a ball player, rush and move fast like Keyshia and Daniel. They are good friends. Monica, didn't want to let that meal ticket go.
