Why wouldn't he sing the songs that made him multi-millions??? That puts them on peoples minds again so they will go to iTunes and purchase them, making him rich off the same dayum songs all over again. Smart if you ask me. Beyonce usually SHARES publishing ib any song she sings, even if she didn't write it, because she feela entitled...like "Your song wouldnt be selling as much if I wasn't the one singing it, so break me off part of that publishing money"...Rest assured, there's always a method to the madness. Bey aint mad, she gets paid too, no matter who sings it.
When an artist writes a song for someone they should just let it b. I hope this doesn't start a trend. I see some other songs on the list he wrote for others too and I would certainly rather hear the other artists sing them. If u wrote it for someone else, let em have it. That's kinda two faced...u wrote it for them, they paid u for it, now it's a hit *** u wanna sing it *** make money off it *** take money outta their pockets????
For all the Beyonce' stans..this is only a story because Mrs. Carter tried to say she wrote the stong. Neyo is a talented brutha and he came out and said she was mistaken and that HE wrote the song. She should've been honest and/or accurate in the first place and this scandal would never be. Now she does give credit to him for the song but that's ONLY because she knows he'll come out and tell the truth.
Uhh... Beyonce and Ne-yo are cool. He's working with her in the studio as we speak!! Don't you guys have him on twitter? Plus Beyonce never deliberately tried to steal the credit, I remember an interview when she specifically said she was amazed at how Ne-yo can write songs like "irreplaceable" from a female's perspective. Yall be making up ***! With that being said, beyonce made that song as big as it was..no one could have done it like her.
LMAO at ya'll calling him a 'vindictive queen'! But this is no big deal lots of artist sing covers of other artist songs at concerts. Besides, he WROTE the *** song so he can sing it if he wants to! He doesn't need anyone's permission. However, his vocal ability is very limited and he could NEVER sing as well as the Queen Bey! THat's why Bey is as big as she is, who cares if she doesn't write, she can sing the hell out of a song! That's why she is the queen!
