Despite what other previous comments said, I agree with Terry bcuz I thought the same thing when I heard Will was getting ready to do a remake of Annie starring Willow. Maybe not in those words as Terry used. Since their kids are not doing the typical auditioning for roles, they are making the roles for them. Love the Smiths, think they are a beautiful, powerful black couple. But let the kids be kids, they have plenty of time to be "Hollywood".

I don't have a problem with them acting, but clearly there was some planning and impetus from Will and Jada. Jaden has been in films since he was 4 or 5. They (Will & Jada) took the initiative to put those kids in the spotlight. Now that they are in the spotlight it is the public's business that they don't attend school or have a childhood.

The biggest difference in Hollywood is the same difference in the real world. Good Parents,, If you have good parents then you tend to have good children, But if you have bad parents well, you know the outcome. The Smith children don't have to act, they don't have to bring home a check to support their family. The ones that had too they are the ones that are messed up. Honestly I haven't followed the Smith kids hard enough to really tell how their mannerisms are in public and what have you. So I'm not going to judge them. However, based on the one interview I've read regarding Willow in particular, I feel she needs to be focused more on school and learning than on 'whipping her hair'.

I just had to comment on this lol. Now while I love me some Will and Jada, think they're talented and good looking, and have seen SEVERAL of their movies, I think that they need to encourage their children to focus on being CHILDREN. I think its much more Jada than Will but they are already letting their kids make decisions that adults should be making and giving them way too much freedom at such an early age. At 9 I was still playing with Barbies and coloring books, watching Gummy Bears and Alice in Wonderland the series on the Disney channel. Jada has already stated that she tells her children they can do what they want as long as they can handle it. So my question is, at 9 and 11, how do you know what you can "handle?" You can't leave a BABY (because that's what they are) to handle their own decisions and situations, that's what parents are for. When Willow decided to shave the sides of her hair off in the sake of fashion and her career y'all calling it swag, but when Mel B. did it to her 2 year old yall was hollering "oh Lawd, why she got that baby looking like a troll, she know she wrong" "mmm mmm mmm" What's the difference? But evey parents who observed talent in their children, made the necessary sacrifices to get them where they are today, why are these children looked at differently. I also like the idea that black children can look at 8 and 9 year olds and see that they can make it as well and its not just white children. THEY ARE WORKING, something that they will have to for the rest of their lives regardless, so why can't they hone their craft and start their careers as polished young adults, hell even teens? You can say that the kids want to do it all you want. KIDS WANT TO PLEASE THEIR PARENTS and more importantly, hell, kids want to eat candy all day, never bathe,never go to bed, not do their homework. Well Terry mcmillian has a point. One thing is that willow and jayden do give off arrogant vibes. In interviews everything about them seems very stuck up, their body language, facial expressions etc. They don't seem very humble.

I agree with Terry 100 percent. Most celebrities shield their children from the media, protect them and give them privacy. I applaud Michelle Obama for doing this with her children. If they are in the media it's usually due to a social event where photographers are invited. It seems that Jada is consumed with having celebrity status at any cost even if it includes her children.
