U mostly see lil kids rockin it tho, but it's not cheap! As long as it's not all loud & colorful like that car, Coogi's aight. NY dudes be on they Louie, Gucci, YSL, Prada, True Religion, Polo sh*t...Coogi made a comeback in NY, u know we green light fashion 1st here in this country, then it start catching on everywhere else...so don't try to play NY, it probably didn't make it's way back round to ya'll yet...Polo was a big deal here in the early 90's, then NY dudes left that sh*t alone, almost 10 yrs later when I'm visiting Miami, they was rocking Polo hard & I thought they was so corny. But that was in in Florida. Now Polo made a come back again up top, them Polo boots wit the buckle that's out now, I had them in '92 when I was in 6th grade...it's all a cycle.
@tonydakilla...that's basically what I said, lol. NY gets it 1st then it branches out to other states. "WE" decide it's played out, then the demand slows down everywhere else...then eventually it starts all over again (i.e. cycle, see above :-))...As far as the US is concerned, NY is at the helm, not saying people can't get fresh in other cities, but we do host fashion week here in NYC twice a year. Celebrities fly in from all over for that, media camping out all over the place. We have the private showrooms, upscale boutiques...if they're not going to Milan, they're here in NY to study fashion.
Black people, This is one major problem in the hood today. We are brain washed to think to think that we have to have to keep up with the latest fashions in order to be somebody.
