I'm from the south and I go to school proudly to get an education. If you really want to know the truth Alabama is not a dumb state a lot of people come here to go to school because tuition is more manageable and cost of living is cheap. People in Bessemer don't like him because he false claiming ATL, knowing *** well his *** went to Jess Lanier High School and went to Lawson State College. And whoever think were dumb, newsflash we in the top 50 best Community Colleges in the US!
The biggest mistake ppl make is thinking southerners or country ppl are slow and dumb. That's exactly how they get you! One of the 48 laws of power is: Always seem dumber than your mark! @ Many threads ago, I mentioned that Gucci was actually intelligent and ppl laughed. A lot of ppl from the hood may sound and seem dumb but are far from it!

Intelligence is not found in a book therefore there are unintelligent people who attend college. Intelligence means being able properly interpret and analyze information and ignorance is the lack of being able to do so. Education comes from living and looking beyond the education system for knowlege. If you rely only on texts books for knowledge...your're ignorant.

To me, having a college degree is a bit overrated nowadays, especially judging by the countless people who are out of work and have Bachelors and Masters degrees. Also, just because those people have degrees, doesn't necessarily make them smarter than the person who has just a high school diploma.
So, just like Gucci, people who have degrees (assuming he has one) and are educated can still make dumb a.z.z. decisions and not use common sense.
To the people that want to disprove the theory that southern people are not intelligent, I ask that you please proofread your comments prior to posting them. You are not helping our cause when you can't determine when you have created grammatical errors that should have been caught in 2nd grade.
Also, I don't have anything against Gucci Mane, but the tattoo on the face does seem rather dumb to me.
@HoldinWeight true but at least he went to college and a lot of people can't say that. I go to college on the DEAN LIST so I take life serious. A lot people go to community college first then transfer to a four year to save money and that's what I'm doing. Just someone goes to a Junior College does not make them dumb. Some of the smartest can't go to 4 years right off because of finances. Hell my cousin went a community college then transferred to Samford University and graduating this year with a bachelors in Accounting.

Just becaus you're a rapper and embrace the hood mentality doesn't mean you're stupid or dropped out of high school. I grew up with a lot of people from the hood and gangster that actually got good grades in school. It's not impossible.

College is not fir everyone. My uncle didn't have anything but a tenth grd education . He used drive , hardwork and hustle to create a company. He is a self made millionaire. I live *** the Sip (Mississippi). We may sound a lil different but we r no less intelligent. I have a master's degree & I'm working on my PhD in Ed Psych. I use ebonics & spell words wit numbers, but I didn't on my thesis nor will I do so on my dissertation. When *** Rome.... (So y am I reading MTO? Pure ratchedness I guess.
There's a lot of stupid *** in college these days! Most of em don't even know why they're there. They just went because they were always told that going to college is what you're supposed to do after high school.
Half of them come out of college (and yes most of them do graduate) even more stupid than they were before they first got there.

You are on point concerning your remark, "...school, jail are all mind control institutions." Public schools, especially for Black and Hispanic boys, are breeding grounds for prisons. Someone once told me that prison operations are similar to public school operations. I do know this: The number of prisons that are built in most states are based on third grade boys reading scores. Sad to say, but as your seven or eight year old boy sleeps, a cell is being built for him.
Webbstedd--- that is very, very, sad but true. The group, DeadPrez and others have stated that the same exact ppl who run the school systems also run and control the prisons. Even the lunch rooms in public schools are designed like mess halls and cafeterias in the state prisons right down to the paint and sh*itty architecture. The principle is no more than a warden. Its a *** shame.
