Remember y’all, Sarcoidosis is the same lung disease that killed comedian Bernie Mac in 2008. According to the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute, sarcoidosis is an inflammation of organs. Though the disease can affect any organ in the body, it typically attacks the skin, lungs, or lymp nodes. Experts say, death can occur when complications arise in the lungs, heart, or brain.
We love Tisha, and all the great work she's done. We wish her and her family the best.
This is [SPAM]old news...And if properly treated sarcoidosis is not necessarily deadly. It's an autoimmune disease like lupus and sufferers who take care of themselves have a much better outcome. Remember Bernie was about to slow it down and go into retirement prior to his death but obviously waited too late.
MTO stop trying to scare people like this! Get the facts straight about this condition! Sarcoidosis is NOT deadly. And Bernie Mac DID NOT die from sarcoidosis! Bernie Mac died because his idiot doctor gave him a medication that surpressed his immune system and he died from complications from pneumonia. A person with sarcoidosis can live a normal, productive life as long as they take care of themselves and live a healthy lifestyle...

Bernie MAC didn't die from sarcoidosis he had other problems. my mama was diagnosed with it 6 yes ago *** it was on her brain which is way worse than having it on the lungs. and she is still living with it til this day so mto can stop the dramatic *** cause that's exactly what it is
whoa whoa whoa, I have sarcoidosis! Its not a death sentence! As long as you take your required medication and take care of your health then she will be okay. Her being a celeb she got plenty of money to take her medication with out missing a dose. I on the the other hand don't have medical insurance so...put two and two together. But she will be fine. But I'll pray for her. Stage two is what I had before they had to take out a good piece of my lung. Well Okie Dokie. I had to come up on here and say omg its not so bad. Just take your Steroid med and you'll be fine.
I have Sarcoidosis (no cure) and I am in stage 3 of 4 stages. It affects everyone differently so no one can say anything about it unless you are the one with the disease, have a friend or family member suffering from it or have did some type of research to educate yourself. Enough said. Thank God I am still here and bless those who are dealing with incurable diseases.
MTO LATE,LATE LATE with this information,but so am I today with my opinions and yes Sarcoidosis is a disease that "Kills" I have a close family member living with it. There are different forms and stages of it,but once it attacks the lungs it is a virtual death sentence,because there is no cure. Sarcoidosis,Lupus,High Blood Pressure and Diabetes are the number one killers in the black community.

I myself suffer from this disease also. You can live a full life if you take care of yourself & takes your meds when you need them. Bernie technically did die from complications due to this disease. It is a auto immune disease so we are subject to catching pnuemonia & severe infections if not careful..that's what killed Bernie Mac the complications of catching it over & over again makes the scarring in our lungs harded everytime. Alot of celebrities have this Reggie White passed from it & several other ppl have came fourth!Live evryday as if it were your last bcuz you just never know.<3

Bernie Mac died because he didnt listen to his doctors and slow down. I hope this isnt true! I pray this is another lie yall are telling! we all know yall are good for story tellin.
