Well he's trying to sell it. The only problem is that he's asking $21 million for it . . . and the tax assessors say the market value is FAR LESS. Check out the below pics of the house - and the assessment ($8.1M market value, $5.6 assessed value).

Like most homeowners, Deion got played. Jacking up the true worth was only to generate and place a higher tax value on a property. Wall Street crooks, town assessors/appraisers, Real Estate agents and local government alike were all in on the ***: Let's start some hype & pretend that the value of homes are suddenly worth an "astronomical" amount so that the taxes will be higher on people's property so we can get paid and keep them being a slave-to-debt!! Overpriced value of homes in a scam. Once people are stuck with an overloaded mortgage that is way beyond it's true value, they can't help but to falter because the IRS will place a lien on a property because the taxes alone end up being as much as the true value of the property. Why do you think a number of Celebs are filing for bankruptcy and OWING the IRS a huge tax-debt on the property? Nice cars = Luxury Tax to both the local town and IRS. Same goes for jewelry, homes, furs. Stop flossing/buying into hype which is nothing more than a marketing plan to deplete you of your $$.

Nobody should mind having their property undervalued by its tax office. That means less taxes you'd have to pay.

***. That house should be worth more than 5-8 mil, but the fact is that the real estate market is real sh&tty now-a-days so if I were him either stay there or take the lose and move on. The maintenance on a property of that size has to be huge which is something a lot of people simply don't consider when they buy big homes on a large lot. He's not bringing in the money he used to and he's probably feeling the pinch like so many others. Just watch, a few years from now Shaq will be doing the same thing!
