I went to school with so many girls who did that and it WAS NOT easy for any of them. I guarantee you it wasn't easy. I had a cousin who went through it and she had to balance school, job, and everything else on top of it. It took her years to get everything straight.

Sometimes young girls do things like this,because they have no guidance,are rebelling,think a baby is a cute "TOY", believe they can become a celebrity teen mom or are trying to claim there independence for love, but whatever the reason the child is the one that suffers. There should be a class, supervised, where they young girls have to watch, care for, chase, feed, diaper, cloth, burp, soothe these babies. Once they get a taste of that, they are not going to want to have one anytime soon. Schools should implement this with stay at home moms bringing in their babies so that these kids know what it is really like to take care of a baby.

Depending on the girl,the Teen Mom show can glorify teen pregnancy because some girls like the drama. Depending on where they come from and how they grew up,the issues on the show is something they see everyday and is normal to them,the drama (if any) between teen mom and teen dad is something they unconsciously want. Also,society doesn't look down on teen moms/unmarried moms like they used to. These girls are having big baby showers and aren't really forced to take care of their own children. I noticed on the show and when I was in high school how when a girl go pregnant,she seemed to get more attention. For instance,if before she got prego,she was kinda plain Jane,but after she got pregnant, her parents (or whomever) would always keep the girl's hair and nails done,cuter clothes and accessories,got to drive the car to school,came dressed to impressed at every after school event,etc...I noticed this with many of the girls who got pregnant at my high school. The sex education classes are good,but people need to understand the reason these girls want to have kids because all the condoms,classes,talks,and birth control will not stop them from wanting and having a baby. I don't even believe it now when I hear a teen mom say it was an accident or the condom broke excuses.

We both have the same father and as a matter of fact, my sister and I both graduated high school at the top of our classes. We both went on to attend prestigious universities. My sister graduated and now has a degree in Biology. When I graduate in the Spring of next year I will have a degree in Teaching and will then go on to get my master's in Speech Language Pathology! So don't you dare say that a woman NEEDS a man to raise a child correctly! Though it would have been nice to have my father around, my mother did not NEED him to raise my sister and I properly!

Actually i was 15 and pregnant i had him at 16 and NEVER had child services part of him and his life and YOU WATCH WAY TOO MUCH now 19, he is well taken care of and HIS FATHER IS IN HIS LIFE .
