: Sad news. . . . NINJAS started acting up at the DMV Awards in Washington DC. The show, which was set to highlight DC Baltimore and northern Virginia Hip Hop, was cut short because of a few idiots.
Check out the below video to see everything pop off. If you listen closely you can hear the cameraman discussing with another person ho during the melee, he "found" a bunch of chains on the ground. . . LOL!!!
this is terrible... this exactly why music from our area (DMV) never gets heard... this is why you never see successful artist from our area at events like this... (WALE, GENUINE, TANK...ECT.) bcuz although its cool to give back but some events such as this... you just have to take yourself away from to excel

first off its an event to highlight talent no only in bmore, md...but pg county, mo county, st charles county, etc too..don't forget them first off...secondly, those were some youngins wreckin' and whoever said the whole thing about this being the reason that dmv artist arent successfull...thats not true...wale put claims on a hood he aint from, slim from gaithersburg is a bamma, ginuwine is still...a bamma..as for tank, cuz is cool he make good music for the ladies. We just havent had that 1 supertalented artist to get on yet. And theres plenty around..at the end of the day is all about egos

This is the reason why when we go to apply for a job we never hear from anyone. Why am i reading peoples comments saying "baltimore" isn't part of the DMV umm you *** YES bmore is part of DMV the M stands for MARYLAND and BALTIMORE is in MARYLAND so there for baltimore rappers are part of the DMV..WOW and yes i was born in raised in Maryland South east Baltimore so others get your facts straight..But praise the lord I left that area lol..#Miami all day now :)
That is usually a nice event, over 500 people attend, and there is a lotta love and networking goin on... but i must say im soooo glad i wasnt there for that ish!
Couple people i worked with have won so the joint its aiight with me, i was nominated a few times but i dont play politics with those on the underground so u know how that came out...
There are some NICE artists in the DMV, they just dont have the support of any of the local media, no radio luv, no BET luv (unless u have a few stacks to burn)!
