So you got a total of what 600 black men that date non black women,, Now that you have some rough statistics the real question is soooo what?? I mean 600 men? Some of them would probably be undateable but since they are making money they got women throwing themselves on them. So why is it that roughly 600 athletes make up the WHOLE race of black men? Celebrities and Athletes make up 2% of the general population. And you mean to tell me that one fourth of that (2%) means that all black men date outside their race or think that black is wack? I am not making excuses for black men who date outside their race. You are right about some of the black women in college that hold it down for their boyfriends and as soon as their pockets get start getting fatter, they start leaving the ones they started with. This is true but come on,, not every man at 21 years old is ready to settle down and get married, especially if he is going to be a professional ball player, Would you feel better if black pro athlete just *** only black women or he *** all women and finally realized that he wants a black woman? I was involved in a case study about interracial dating and our group got this information from NFL, NBA, MLB,,, We got the number of black men in each league, then we got info on if they are married, then we got to what race they were married to, then the tricky part, when it came to dating, we did a history of dating profile on athletes and if they weren't known we didn't use them, this cut like 0.000002345% from the true numbers. But you can google how many black professional athletes in each sport.

Also, one of my favorite actors (Sidney Poitier ?) did not criticized black women, but he never praised or acknowledged the black women in his life like he did for the white ones in his life. This slight on his part moved the black women close to him to call him out on it, which in turn brought tears to his eyes, which in turn moved him to write a book specifically to his black granddaughter and to black women in his family. He acknowledged his mistake and spoke highly of them in the book.

I truly love a good debate, but lots of times find them hard to come across on this site because of stupidity (God I detest stupid - I'd rather deal with ignorant). So I gets my popcorn and my wine - and read and laugh. Most of us know that mto is all about divide and conquer, they add enough truth to a lie to make it sound plausible, slant information and much like most media outlets depict Blacks as if we are holding this godforsaken country hostage...yada yada HOWEVER, that doesn't mean that some of their "topics" can't be used for a healthy discussion. I think ppl sometimes lose sight of that and ge too serious. Doesn't require us all to agree/disagree or agree to disagree, but one would think a happy medium would be found at the end. @Kanga Glad you asked. Two years ago, I conducted a study on Latino and Afro-American young males and was greatly disgusted with the results.
I went to several prominent individuals in my community to share and to discuss the pathetic results, for it was my hope to move some people--particularly older black males, but it did not work. These individuals told me to stay on task concerning the problem, but they did not care to aid me with solving it, so I (alone) went to the school board to speak with the assistant superintendent, and of course, he had no answers (cont. below)
@Kanga (cont. from above). or solutions--as expected, he did not care. So, instead of giving up, I decided to go back to school to learn strategies I can employ to rectify the problem. As I attend school, I am also working on obtaining the requirements I need to start my own non-profit organization to help young children, especially young minority males. I'm trying, Kanga, I am trying, but I am going at it alone, but I refuse to give up on my people--I just flat out refuse to do so. It's hard sometimes to keep caring when you come on a site such as this and read self-hating comments.

For all who care, I love my white women. Spent and entire 10 days in Vienna, Austria last year and loved every minute of it. Darryl is talking the truth about black females.
