Yes it is possible. Thats what happens when the hair isn't being tortured with perms/weaves/hot combs/irons etc.. I can testify to that personally. I cropped mine years ago and in 2 years it was back with a taller fro than So-so's.

Yes. African hair has as lot of shrinkage. In 2 years, you can grow your hair from bald to arm-pit length straight---but with African hair, that's barely past neck length. I don't know if it's her hair, but the growth is possible. Look at all the naturals on Youtube.

It very well might be her natural hair. I mean, if it is, it did grow alot in just 6-7 months, but if her hair retains length well, it probably is hers. As a natural myself, it is possible. When you leave your hair alone it will grow. Think of it as dredding. When you leave your hair alone from the relaxers, weaves, heat styling, gel, etc, your hair can grow to great lengths. I am living proof. You can still grow your hair to great lengths with relaxers, but the key is to not mess in your hair so much.

This is sad and hilarious that folks could be so d#$*** ignorgant about black hair...especially black people! Its called shrinkage people! Black hair and appear different lengths depending on the styling(strecthed or unstrecthed). Human hair grows an average of 6in a year regardless of race or texture. READ A BOOK!! Black folks need to learn how to work with their hair and not against it. Improper styling practices are the cause for some people being under to false assumptions that black hair doesn't grow or that you must have a certain texture/heritage for it to grow long.
