The insider, who has FIRSTHAND KNOWLEDGE of the facts told MediaTakeOut.com, "[Jay Z] wants Beyonce to shift her sound - more towards a euro techno sound, because that's what's selling now."
The insider continued, "But Mathew wanted Bey to stick to her R&B roots and continue putting out the same kind of music that she's done thusfar."

I will take a wait and see approach on this one because I heard she recorded over 20 songs of many styles. The album will be out in June and the single will be released in late April. All I know is if she goes full techo, it proves she is only about the money and the trend. However, Beyonce needs to mix things up a bit. She really should do a Rock/R&B album--not techo!

Well if she wants to keep up with the likes of RihYAWNa and Lady Goo Goo GaGa, then Bey would have to switch up her sound a bit. It's the sign of the times, especially if she wants to reach the core (non-black) audience.

I don't think the whole album will be euro-techno, maybe just a few songs. Matthew wanted her to go back to R&B music and she's declined. I wish she had listened to her father. R&B is rare nowadays because everyone is on the euro-techno tip from Kelly to Rihanna, Lady GaGa and Britney Spears. Hell, even Chris Brown has tapped into it on his new "F.A.M.E." CD! If she stuck with R&B, that would have made her stand out. Beyonce hasn't really done R&B since her first CD. Now, her style is going to sound like everyone else.
